Do you sometimes hate people to the point where it becomes unreal?

Kinda yeah, but at least these bad sequels from late 90s/early 2000s weren't box office successes and even die hard Disney adults don't give a fuck about them. Maybe except Lion King 2 which had strong fanbase.
Aside from Lion King 2 which is pretty good, Return of Jafar isn't bad either and benefits from Jafar's VA being more than willing to voice him in any role. He gets a great villain song too.

Are there any shows that you guys think deserve an animated remake?

Utopia from the BBC, IMO, would make a pretty good animated series. I know they tried to lean into the comic book styling so I think realizing that in animation would work pretty well.
Allowing the story to actually fully be continued would be great, I'm still upset they cancelled after 2 seasons and then we got that awful Amazon remake that sanitised everything and made it stupid.
As for me, I would love an animated series for something like The Dark Crystal. I get the puppets are the whole draw, and they are very good, but the cost of them is probably the reason that netflix series was cancelled and why we haven't seen anything since. Basically, I want a dark, gothic fantasy but without the overuse of sex and absolute gore like what studios think dark fantasy has to be nowadays.

I'm surprised it wasn't animated to begin with. I mean think about it - a police officer discovers a mysterious lost child who has supernatural powers? Does that not sound like the plot to literally every anime of the past few years? Plus, you could do all kinds of crazy shit with Piper's powers in animation you couldn't in live-action (it kind of holds the series back).

At the final season of Venture Bros. All I can say is that this show somehow restored some hope about western animation can be good.
I don't even know how to put it into words on how much I fucking love this show.
I love the whole arching system and levels which makes it believable, the subversion being actually well written ,and just how much better character growth gets later on throughout the seasons.
Feels like the writers and animators can up their game if they were allowed to be experimental with what they got to make a good series. Or could be it that it was in that era people were allowed to make jokes and not have to worry about this era where people would bitch and moan over how the show isn't progressive enough for modern audiences.
It's still a fucking shame that Cartoon Network fucked them over cancelling it much like a lot of interesting shows.

Btw this is my favorite fucking moment in the final season.

Call me crazy but you know how they made animated spinoff of r rated properties in the 80s? I kinda wanna see someone try that again in the here and now (NOT with current year bs of course) and I don't mean an anime or anime esq take on something like alien, robocop, or Rambo. I mean...a modern take or maybe parody of the trend that tries to stay as true to the fact that it can't be as dark or violent as it's source material. Like a parody of the idea of trying to make Aliens tas (which did in fact almost happen by the way)

I made a tweet that was "Animation is cinema" and all I did was replace all the childrens shit with more adult animation and it got some traction but the not the traction those tweets usually get if they put bluey or owl house

animation niggas will say that they want animation to be treated with respect but they always give either gay shit attention or things obviously meant for children attention and will rarely give any adult animation that isn't Rick and Morty, Inside Job, or any other adult cartoon of the week that looks like R&M.

TLDR: you want animation to be treated with respect, showcase animation from outside your bubble like the ones shown above.

edit: sorry for double posting, I had to get this slight rant out of my head
Yea but they havent seen anything other than kids movies

Speaking of kids movies tho im looking forward to watching the new Wallace and Gromit with my family on Christmas day, with a big ole turkey on my lap

Holy shit, Utopia mentioned.
Doctor Who as an animated series maybe. With animation you can basically make any alien that in live action would look kinda kitschy. Sci-fi from all the genres is probably the one that needs the biggest amount of money in order to look good and with animation you can make it cheaper. Also the expressive animation would fit 10th and 11th Doctor.
