How exactly did this happen in OK KO? It’s been a while since I’ve seen it but all I recall is the ending being lackluster and a stupid time skip episode for some reason.
All I remember was the main villain and his robots getting hurled into the sun.

The only good part is probably the animation quality itself. The actual designs are terrible, and I do get what Gendy was going for with this 1930's animation aesthetic. It just really looks bad and doesn't play well with the story he is trying to tell.

Speaking of the the story, its a confused mess where things simply happen and there really is never a "because" or even a fucking "and then". Characters just do things for no logical reason and go to random places. The characters themselves are flat and largely unlikable. The only tolerable character is the main chicks fiancé and that is only because he has an understandable goal and motivation to do...anything.

The finale is a clusterfuck of nonsense that even makes the prior confused mess look like a hospitals clean room.

Don't watch it, its confusingly bad.
But I liked Unicorn Warriors Eternal.

Its okay to like something that's bad. Your free to like whatever you want to like and I won't tell you what you personally should or shouldn't like in media.

Doesn't change that the show itself is a poorly put together incoherent mess though and generally I will tell people not to waste their time on it.

IIRC, it was a collection of what-if's based on proposed episodes.
The lazy art style of OK KO rubbed me the wrong way. I don't buy the cover of "it's so kids can easily draw the characters." Maybe that's actually the reason, but I can't help but feel it was just so they could churn out episodes really quickly. I wouldn't put it past the modern industry to take so many shortcuts it's glaringly obvious and offensive.

Plus there was that weird gun control episode that Mr. Enter sperged about way back when, which is now all I can think about whenever OK KO comes up:

It was incredibly jarring to see the show go from the okay style in the pilot, to the really appealing and fluid styles of the shorts, to the sort of flat style of the actual show.

The newer simple characters like Dendy and that mouse girl blend well with the style but the original characters like Enid are just butchered with how many flat shortcuts are taken.

You ask me they should have gotten someone like CH Greenblat to take over some of the character design or direction, because he has these flat simple characters but he knows how to give them depth and how to make them move incredibly smoothly and keep their shape, a lot of characters in OK KO don't fair as well.

Did they get to the rape scene yet?
Even if they were rushing and cutting big time, they'd never make it there until at best season 5. But since the show is going hella slow and faithful in progress, the only way we see it would be a complete backstage production collapse as there's no way in hell this show lasts 7 or 8 seasons.

A trailer just started circulating not too long ago of a Norwegian adult animated comedy named "Spermageddon". From the guy who directed "Violent Night", Tommy Wirkola.

>Spermageddon is a 2024 Norwegian adult computer-animated musical sex comedy film directed by Tommy Wirkola and Rasmus A. Sivertsen. The film consists of two plot lines, one focusing on a teenage couple having sex for the first time, and the other on Simen the Semen and his friends in quest for the Egg
Why did they make it a musical on top of everything else?

Someone thinks they're being edgy making this look like a Pixar film for adults.

I hate musicals, I hate the lingering effects of that shitty sausage movie and I hate Norway, not even worth a piracy viewing imo

It's just an awful era for the industry, I thought it was a good deal for Antonucci, his Lupo the Butcher getting an animated series, then boom! Netflix rejected it, but you know what did get accepted, a lame haunted house cartoon from Dan Harmon, who already has two big name cartoons that suck total ass.
Not quite, yeah the mainstream industry is in shambles after a couple decades of bad decisions and people causing havoc, but we have some pretty good stuff on the indie side like Space King, Meat Canyon's Melvin Macabe and some slop like helluva boss or anything that glitch productions does , the catch being that there are months between episodes due to the homebrew nature behind the production
Made with pencils manufactured via slave labor in Siberia and stolen western film technology yet more pleasing than anything made in the US in the last dunno 20 years?
That's because belive it or not they put genuine hearth and effort to entretain and keep kids happy, according to EZ;PZ even soviet animators understood how inmoral was to put politics into children cartoons, that is also what makes Steven Universe a very devious cartoon
