Nothing further.
What the fuck am I looking at? I didn't even this these were real shows.
That """French""" (crypto-jew) faggot "Balak" again. I hope something comes out revealing he is up to no good.

In all seriousness, what is that you guys expect to hear from the new Gumball? "Yiff" jokes? Faggotry? Trannyism?

Well, retards on twitter are already like “Uhm, did you even watch the original show? There were always episodes like that? You want a show without satire? Did you even watch past the first episode?”

Can I sort of see where both parties are coming from? Yes. However the people defending this are being so obnoxious about it that I can’t help but side against them, especially so if they have a Palestine flag and/or watermelon in their username.

Alright I'm a bit lazy to write a concise version of a profile post I was making for @Romeo, so I figured I'd share the post in the thread instead.
I can say for sure that the animations put out by today's animators is no longer for me anymore. I am not in the audience demographic that the animators are going for, because I am not their self-inserts or whatever. I don't think I can find anything that I would enjoy anymore from today's Western animation even though I enjoyed so much of it in the past. It's whatever; I have downloaded an animation software app FlipAClip to start doing some 2D animations and I can share it on the Kiwi Farms just to show ideas that I would like in future animations. Right now though, I'm still trying to master drawing people and understand shading, which is a challenge.
A few things relevant to the stuff above alongside some rules of thumb.
  • FlipAClip I hear is okay, but most of what I've stumbled upon has been within hobbyist work. Which is also fine until you realize it deprives you of basic animation functions behind a subscription fee when otherwise readily available in different software. I myself do not use a tablet at the moment but two good alternatives I've found for tablets are Rough Animator and Toon Squid. I suspect you'd be interested in the former, especially for the feature film that it was designed to produce.
    • As for desktop applications, I recommend Tahoma2D, TV Paint or Toon Boom Harmony. Only get the latter two if you can pirate them safely, it's not worth the extortion.
  • I'm happy to hear you're drawing, as it is admittedly sort of a weakness of mine. But always know that you can dabble back and forth between animation and drawing. They compliment each other and good to interleave, but aren't necessarily dependent (recommended (slop) watch). For instance, I like to slack back to using placeholder cylinder and box shapes as guides, it's far easier to control and explore the movement than applying the two skills in tandem. In case of a complex character animation, I would then rough in basic head, torso and pelvis clusters with sticks for limbs, then tiedown the rough with the inclusion of the connecting flesh.
  • Treat learning as a curious exercise rather than a to-do task. If you have to animate a walk cycle, try type of walk that appeals to you, or one you wish to understand and pick apart. Alternatively, you can make a generic walk cycle of a character you admire instead. There are many ways to do this, it's up to you to explore and tailor to keep your interest up.
  • As with drawing, consistency is key.
I strongly believe anyone can make something wonderful with the little tools they have, it just takes time and dedication. I do not believe you can find it easily in larger productions nowadays but that should never discourage you.

Happy drawing :)

How many times we gonna do this song and dance? Gumball isn't the fucking Boondocks. It's a wacky kids cartoon first that started shoehorning politcally commentary because the terminally online twitter audience clapped like seals for it. Nobody goes to those aforementioned shows for the commentary lets be real.

Two new trailers released today:
Disney's Zootopia 2

GOAT by Sony Pictures Animation

Will probably watch Zootopia 2 when it streams. I might stream GOAT when I need something to watch on a random day, but I'm not sold on it yet.

Certainly doing the skipped frames with 3D these days. So jarring to me but I guess they wanna put limits on these for "stylistic choice". and not an excuse for budget. Of course I reminded myself of the "Bernard" shorts.

Torrenting's an option.
I'm not going to power-level too hard, but I have my reasons why I choose pay for the streaming services. lol

I'll give Sony a little leniency because they popularized it. I really hope it fades off eventually because there are too many films that have this style of animation. A small amount of films are okay, but it's waaay too many now.

I enjoyed K-Pop Demon Hunters, but they better not do a sequel because it wouldn't make sense canonically due to the (golden/rainbow) Honmoon being fully established. Knowing the industry though, there will probably be one in the works. I'm honestly shocked they didn't put it in theaters because it probably would've still be an absolute success.

Did anyone watch The Willoughbys? I know it's 4 years old, but I gave it a watch a couple of weeks ago and loved it—even with some of the modern eye-rolling touches they put in it.

Rare Tranny trvthbomb, I can't say if I agree when it comes to nu-Gumball (haven't watched the new episodes yet), but any cartoon after Rick and Morty that takes after their doomer shit should follow their footsteps and kick the chair.
Quit being a pissbaby doomer faggot and either have fun or kill yourself already.

My point was more a question, yet I can see the smuggies going "uhm sweaty did you know the show was ALWAYS like this?!?". Being contrarian just so you want to take the fist to their faces. Looks like the reboot was a mistake and may have "coomer bait" incoming. Meh - good thing I never watched it.

Right because the show with the first episode being about Gumball and Darwin trying to return a DVD they scratched to the video store without paying any fees.* Is a show I wanna watch to hear a bunch of frenchies bitch and whine about "unfair classism and wealth disparity."

* (which REALLY shows just how long the shows been running/in production, even back then video stores were going the way of the dodo)

I think regardless of how much the original shows did this sort of thing, I think a reason a lot of these reboots of shows talking about modern topics constantly fall flat is because the average asshole with a Twitter account is already so deeply connected to whatever dumb shit's going on, even more so then when TAWOG was settling into satire, to a point that you really just don't wanna hear it anymore, so whenever a show goes "Lol, isn't the stuff going on around you crazy and you can do nothing about it?" my reaction is generally "I fucking know already".
And no, it WASN'T always like that actually, Season 1 had episodes like Gumball and Darwin returning DVDs, wanting to refund games, being possessed by ghosts, and being in a dangerous forest and shit.

The few times it did commentary was to mock these "all art is political" xitterites.
