Convention horror stories. Homestuck fans like to bring a pail with them and have all their fellow Homestuck fans spit in it because of a lore in-joke - we're insanely lucky they don't insist on jizzing in them. But more hilariously, they also wear cheaply-made gray body paint for cosplay purposes, and that ends up terrorizing the hotels that'll house them by smearing gray everywhere and breaking all the plumbing with washed-out dye.
I'm fortunate during the webcomic boom, I never had to read or watch that shit. I've heard whispers, but the story and characters never really drew me in.
It's unadaptable. 98% of it takes place in textwalls, the remaining 2% is flash animations over music trying really hard to be an AMV of itself.

That though?....well cosplay is cosplay but does the paint HAVE to be so cheap it doesn't dry properly and NOT leave stains? As for washing it off...at least they DO wash it off. These slack jawed retards are almost as inconsiderate as furries at conventions.
It was going to get a cartoon many years back but never made it out of the concept stage, and manga adaptations exist. Probably could remain a joint Japanese-American production tbh so it doesn't really matter.

I would play/watch the SHIT out of a Kingdom Hearts spinoff where you got to team up with Darkwing Duck, Goliath from Gargoyles, and Gizmoduck.
And it was during a time when video game adaptations weren't taken very seriously so there's a good chance it would've ended up like DiC's Mario and Sonic cartoons rather than more recent takes.

New king of the Hill is pretty good, i think the new dale voice actor does a good enough job and him and im glad they didn't kill the character off on account of johnny hardwick dying. Also keith david voices a new alley character for some reason which was cool to see. It definitely doesn't shit on the original at all, quite enjoybale stuff - dale and joseph are the best characters by far.
I only read Acts 1-5. Act 6 is long as fuck and from what I heard has a shit ton of text walls so I’m probably not going to try to read it.
