I'm gonna be honest, I don't care about her fujo fanart. She was a cartoon fangirl drawing shipping art that didn't even go full nudity, who cares. It's not like she drew them as toddlers getting raped or some other horrible shit.
Didn't she draw them fucking?
E: NVM. The grainy screenshots that people used to post made it look way worse than it actually was.

Did they get to fucking? I can't even tell. This is what I've been able to find:

It looks like they got to some kind of over-clothes third base at most, but I don't think they're actually having penetrative sex-- okay this is the dumbest fucking conversation I just want that to be acknowledged

Speaking of Rebecca Sugar being disappointing, there are so few female showrunners and she had to go and identify as some fucking nonbinary thing. Like, goddamn it Rebecca, you are making shit so much harder for women in animation.

It's funnier too she got the credit as Cartoon Networks first female creator and its first non-binary creator, like damn girl Woman, NB, Bisexual, just pick a struggle already

By the way saw a few posts on 4chan about the upcoming Knights of Guinevere, asked if someone will pull a Verbalase and make another 50K video only with Guinevere. Likely shitposts or trolling, but who is nuts or stupid enough to do that again?
No way, KOG isn't nearly as popular as Hazbin Hotel was when Verbalase did the thing.

I always found her morose "woe is me" vibe pretty fucking annoying when it became more and more clear she didn't actually have it the worst.
Agreed. Maybe it's my own preferences, I really don't like "damaged bitch" characters because more often then not their trauma becomes their personality, and that's not fun to follow in neither fiction or real life.

I mean it's rough she was stuck in the mirror so long but it was her own choice to fuse with Jasper, and later on it's clear she could have handled her without ever doing that. They were next to the OCEAN when they fused she could have just thrown Jasper 5000 miles away.
Y'know like she did on the boat!

That little object in the distance is Jasper being thrown many many feet away from them.
There are times she's right to be standoffish but for the most part she's just a wet blanket if you'll pardon the expression.
Later she flies off to the moon with all of Peridot's things but makes sure to leave Peridot behind. Lapidot shippers never recovered.

I think I'm more mad they gave her such a cute appealing design but made her personality suck.

I have a lot more history with Adventure Time, so I go way more into detail with its shortcomings. First off, these episodes below can be purged, absolute bottom of the barrel filler - going to quote myself from the AT thread:

I have a complicated story with Adventure Time. I love what Pendleton Ward was trying to do (a kid and his magic dog having wacky adventures), and also love early to middle AT, but I don’t like what it became in the last seasons . The finale especially was terrible, and arguably wasn’t even about Finn and Jake, but about the secondary characters (Marceline, Betty, etc.).

Their episode in Distant Lands, just before their reincarnation, works much better as a finale for them.

The episodes you mentioned made me feel like they lost sight of Finn and Jake as the main characters, and tried too hard to be pseudo-deep. The Lemonhope saga, for instance was a turn off of for me. And I personally dislike princess Bubblegum, but that’s just my taste to be fair.

I still love AT. When it’s good, it’s brilliant, it can make you laugh and cry. But when it’s bad, it can hit the same lows as Steven Universe (e.g., frustratingly hinting at plot threads that didn’t get resolved for years, or wasting time with nothing-burger OCs).

Finn and Jake are some of the best cartoon characters ever made, period, and their friends are great too — like Marceline and BMO. But watching late AT gave me the impression the creators stopped caring about them or making fun adventures with them for kids.

Random post on here for sure, but I’ve been watching videos of people mocking/critiquing Hazbin Hotel just so I can grieve/cope over the fact of having to bury one of my parents over these last few weeks. This one is my favorite:

I really hate to say this, but compared to other shit that came out about creators' deviances, this is relatively tame. Still not good to know about, but when you have literal ABDL diaperfags in the industry, that's when you know you gotta pack it tf up and leave.

It’s really funny that "Knights" is Glitch’s first foray into 2D animation and most of the conversation surrounding their new show is about how the voice actors are jagoffs.

I am loving the maximum cope it has spawned. "Noooo this totally isn't a seethe-fest over Disney curtailing my carpet-munching wiccan show!!"

Funny how a fan tried to give her the benefit of doubt, but she pretty much straight out admitted there's some bitterness. She just sugarcoated it instead of denying it.

Like I said on the GLITCH thread, in Dana's case- Disney did absolutely nothing wrong.

Her show just wasn't reaching kids. The Twitter/Tumblr/ Reddit crowds that likes her work are old enough to have jobs. She was hired to entertain kids not get reddit upvotes and articles praising how "progressive" she is.

From my understanding, the final was not planned. CN gave the team the boot at random, so they had to wrap everything up quickly. Had they known before developing season 10, the final likely would have gone smoother.

Better to consider this the true final.

I feel quite opposite. I think Adventure Time is best from 1-4, then 7-10. 5 & 6 have good episodes, but they are the weird seasons where AT tried way too hard to lore build and took some weird directions.

Seasons 7-10 were pretty great. Islands was a great mini series with a good payoff to learning about Finn's mom. Stakes is also great, further building upon Marceline and her history - another great miniseries from season 7. Elements from season 9 is also pretty strong, giving the Ice king and Betty their own plotline. I get the sense that AT was very focused around giving its main characters their own seasons / miniseries. I personally like how they did it, gave the series some focus after the mess of seasons 5 and 6, leading to some of the shows best content.

I think the final being rushed suffered from this mentality however. Pretty sure season 10 was supposed to be Bubblegum's season, going into her family history. The final being thrusted onto the team meant they had to conclude that story alongside the series conclusion of Golb. It sucks as season 10 had some good material, progressing Finn to be more mature both in his relationship with Huntress Wizard and when dealing with Gumbald / his former self characterized by Fern. By the end, Finn was clearly the most mature member of the cast.

And I personally dislike princess Bubblegum, but that’s just my taste to be fair.
She was fine in the earlier seasons. Something happened though where the writers began to take her sometimes questionable morality and base her entire character around it while amping it up x10. She is easily the most frustrating as she was actually my favorite in the early seasons.

Finn and Jake are some of the best cartoon characters ever made, period, and their friends are great too — like Marceline and BMO.
Ice King ended up being the strongest. Really cool how they gave a character arc to a character that cannot change. The show was very well written in how subtle the character changes were for Finn and others to start being able and willing to include him more.

But watching late AT gave me the impression the creators stopped caring about them or making fun adventures with them for kids.
AT is unique in that it lasted 8 years and 10 seasons. Most shows last less than half that amount. To account for the length, the show did something interesting by maturing with the audience since it is doubtful it would continue to gain traction. While not always great, I appreciate the effort of pushing forward rather than ending in a Simpsons/SpongeBob repetition cycle.

Is this really such a shock? Butch Hartman's been doing it for decades.

Got recommended this animation that's essentially "silly furry animals having such #relatable life issues with oh-so realistic talking video that won some awards apparently" #84846846 with, frankly, some pretty good animation.

It's about some bird and a lizard (that the creator states in a pinned comment is a trans woman and is voiced by a trans woman but has the most male sounding voice in history; you can't make this up) and the bird dude is getting ready for a date, only to realize that date didn't go as planned.

Final few minutes end with the bird and lizard dude smoking a bong while said lizard dude talks about whatever that I do not care to go in detail with. I don't know.

I'll give it this, at least the characters did feel natural. Creator did a good job expressing them at being just characters who so happen to be LGBT and not characters that are queer. Still doesn't excuse the pinned comment. "Transmisogyny" my butthole.

If you listen to the first few minutes of the video prior to the bird going on the date and after the date, then it's literally two gay dudes talking and no amount of gaslighting will change that. Getting real tired of winning the easily clockable game.

Would it kill for these so called trans characters to actually sound like their gender? And not in a stereotypical way either that makes the clocking even easier? But again, it's 1000% valid to not sound like your targeted gender whatsoever and still demand people to refer to you as a true and honest woman or man. So that's cool.
