Since we are talking about comics for a while - was there one about a "hero Christian monk" or something? Could have sworn there was.

And to return back to Western animation, @Basic Blond Boy is the Adventure Time related media showing promise or not as much? Have you been watching the Gumball reboot? I haven't, but figured I'd ask. Of course, others in the thread as welcome to share, I just asked because I remember the fellow user shared this input.

Maxwell Atoms, Billy and Mandy's creator, has left California. Most likely from the misfortunes of his original ideas and pitches not getting picked up and Atoms refusing to do reboots or revivals that executives want him to make.
Is this based or retarded that he turned down these offers because they weren't new ideas?
I say based. I still think about what CN did to the Powerpuff Girls, and other shows that are slipping my mind. Sometimes dead is better.

Just watched the first - and only released - episode of F&C season 2. Bit of a slow start, but looks like it’ll be decent and actually avoid Finncel rage. Pretty sure the central theme will be Huntress Wizard learning to settle down and be content, while getting Fionna to be a bit more adventurous. They are already setting up Fiona to be with HW’s genderswap, so the lesbo tease seems to be just marketing.

If I had to guess, the new season will be as competent as season 1, being a weird blend of the lame gay coffee shop drama of Fionna’s world, with the more interesting Adventure Time character study half. Would be surprised if they pull out a scene as good as this one from season 1 though:

I'm homosexual enough to get some enjoyment out of HH, bad as it is.

Adventure Time spinoff show on the other hand? Sorry fellas I can't do it. I can only tolerate so much.

That reminds me, I’ve been meaning to watch a couple of Scooby Doo movies again. Specifically Zombie Island and The Witch’s Ghost. I remember liking the Loch Ness Monster one a lot as a kid too. Anyone got some other recommendations (besides Cyber Chase, I’ve already seen it a million times)?
The DC crossover movie is kind of fun. Utterly nonsensical but still worth a go.

Apparently Fiona and cake is keeping huntress straight or at least still having feelings for Finn.

I gotta say I was so ready for the show to be flayed and crucified by the farms after that opening intro got backlash but it seems like it was all just rage bait....for now.

I hate this gay earth.

He doesn’t even look like a ghost! He looks like a naked gray alien with the proportions and eyes of a human child. It’s making me vaguely uncomfortable.
How hard is it to turn down the opacity on him, so that he actually looks more like a ghost? It at the very least would've made his strange proportions less noticable. I know Casper was frequently depicted with legs but they really should've gone for the ghost tail here, if they're not making him transparent.
Casper's weird baby proportions admittedly have always bugged me a little, I enjoyed Casper media more for his uncles.

You would think that would not be that hard to make him transparent, unless someone involved on this was told it would scare small children or some other focus group BS.

EDIT: I still say this was the best they got out of a forner Paramount property 60 years ago...

Why the hell do they keep trying to bring Casper back of all things? They tried in the 90s with the live action movie, they tried it in the 2000s with haunted Christmas and scare school, now this? Just let the guy rest in peace already.
