Something like Prime is a fine example of how dark adult animation can be.

No you’re right, I have had similar conversations with people that act exactly like this. They are as stupid and insufferable as this, if not more so.Let me sum it up for you.
"WAAAAAAAAH I'M A CELEBRITY THAT'S A WHITE LIBERAL WITH DADDY AND MOMMY ISSUES AND THE END OF HISTORY ISN'T TURNING OUT THE WAY I WANTED! NO IT'S NOT MY POLITICS FAULT! IT'S MY MOMMY AND DAAADAA'S FAULT! I'M SO SAAAD WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH"
Seeth at me all you want you know I'm right.
If LA didn't produce so many shows about alcoholics/addicts with trust issues I'd probably give it a fair shot. But I'm burnt out on that stuff and they love to churn them out.
“Bad books on writing tell you to "WRITE WHAT YOU KNOW", a solemn and totally false adage that is the reason there exist so many mediocre novels about English professors contemplating adultery.”
- Joe Haldeman
Cute concept, don't really know how well it would work as a full on series though.https://youtube.com/watch?v=47qiuwKcJoYApparently Warner Bros. TV is releasing shorts from the CN Cartoon Cartoon development program from a while back on their YouTube channel.
Doesn't look like the shorts will ever get their own series. What a shame.https://youtube.com/watch?v=47qiuwKcJoYApparently Warner Bros. TV is releasing shorts from the CN Cartoon Cartoon development program from a while back on their YouTube channel.

Seedy, scummy place for seedy, scummy people. When LA doesn't attract the same kind of person over and over again, it's like an assembly line churning out the same kind of person over and over again. If you weren't LA Brand™ from the start, cultural and economic pressures make you it. It's why everything that comes out of there feels like it's by the same person. That people admire the place baffles me.Let me sum it up for you.

Aww, cute! I had a similar idea for a series myself, I could see it at least getting a couple shorts (since nothing gets the proper 65 episodes for syndication anymore, grumblegrumble.) Though since I'm a chud, I do have to point out I hate that "ray" is clearly some kind of nonbinary fag type we're supposed to like, even though she's literally as selfish and unlikable as any random tumblr user.https://youtube.com/watch?v=47qiuwKcJoYApparently Warner Bros. Got this recomended today. A little girl demon in the preview is referred as he, if i am not mistaken. Humour is shit, plot is hamfisted and the main story concept? A pale imitation compared to the soviet cartoon about a kind outcast who learns about twisted morals from his bully of a teacher in a school for devils.https://youtube.com/watch?v=47qiuwKcJoYApparently Warner Bros. Characters from that show also appeared in Young Justice and the movie version of Crisis on Infinite Earths.Watching Green Lantern: The Animated Series
actually really nice so far
We really need to cull the current crop of writers, because fuck me, how does someone say this out loud, and think that it’s an interesting storyline? Why not have her do what the community does in real life and just make shit up about existing works? Not to worry. Its legacy lives on through innovative new writers, so long as they're able to escape the chains of Nickelodeon's corporate prison!

Well the traces of queer history mustve not been very great to begin with if her mom and uncle who grew up there before her have nothing to say about it and the tribe thats alive and flourishing in her time has no easily findable info on it either, is it? The fire nation attacked them and dwindled their numbers causing their culture to take a hit but its not like they forced them to stop being gay lmao, since being gay is (allegedly) not a choice wouldnt that be one of the last parts of culture to go away? Not to worry. i wouldn't trust the fujoshi professors on this topicjapanse gay history is well documented already by the actual japanese, all you have to do is google it
The Greeks were gay because they were Greek.saying the japs were gay because someone drew gay sex is the same as saying the greeks were because the rich commissioned degenerate stuff and naked people on vases
Damn shame that it was cancelled, it had the potential to stand alongside some of the stronger DCU shows. Glad that Saint Walker got his time to shine at least.Watching Green Lantern: The Animated Series

Fun fact: "Ray" is literally just Chloe from the author's webcomic, except an angel instead of a devil. Same self-centeredness, same abrasive personality. As for the show, it's cute, but it seems to be doing the Hazbin thing of boiling Christian theology down to Being A Good Fucking Person™. OK, it's a kid's show unlike Hazbin, but why use Christian symbolism in the first place if you're just going to boil it down to "vibes"?
Its kinda meh, all I know is that degenerate gooners on /co/ are most likely going to cream their pants to this for the next few days before moving onCute concept, don't really know how well it would work as a full on series though.
