Seedy, scummy place for seedy, scummy people. When LA doesn't attract the same kind of person over and over again, it's like an assembly line churning out the same kind of person over and over again. If you weren't LA Brand™ from the start, cultural and economic pressures make you it. It's why everything that comes out of there feels like it's by the same person. Aww, cute! I had a similar idea for a series myself, I could see it at least getting a couple shorts (since nothing gets the proper 65 episodes for syndication anymore, grumblegrumble.) Though since I'm a chud, I do have to point out I hate that "ray" is clearly some kind of nonbinary fag type we're supposed to like, even though she's literally as selfish and unlikable as any random tumblr user.

Got this recomended today. A little girl demon in the preview is referred as he, if i am not mistaken. Humour is shit, plot is hamfisted and the main story concept? A pale imitation compared to the soviet cartoon about a kind outcast who learns about twisted morals from his bully of a teacher in a school for devils.


But, oh, but this libcuck puke parody of a cartoon has nonbinary angels and other gendie crap for the kiddies, yaaaay.

My only wish is that no fetishistic webcomic artist from twatter would ever get accepted into animation for kids. Wonder which gendie bluesky bestie connection in the industry allowed the author get in so effortlessly with little to no talent.

Well the traces of queer history mustve not been very great to begin with if her mom and uncle who grew up there before her have nothing to say about it and the tribe thats alive and flourishing in her time has no easily findable info on it either, is it? The fire nation attacked them and dwindled their numbers causing their culture to take a hit but its not like they forced them to stop being gay lmao, since being gay is (allegedly) not a choice wouldnt that be one of the last parts of culture to go away?

If anything wouldnt she be searching for it in the totally massacared air bender culture of her dad?? Or are the tibetian monks too white to do a plot like this about somehow? Is she implying the southern watern tribe is culturally homophobic and was actively repressing homosexuality for longer than katara and sokka had been alive?? Because i dont think the fire nation forced their culture on them in the show or even cared about anything other than killing all the water benders...
Not to mention the northern water tribe being closely related (with very recent shared ancestors) and not even having dealt with most of that stuff in the first place with their culture perfectly intact for centuries straight.

Hoe, japanse gay history is well documented already by the actual japanese, all you have to do is google it. The fire nation that almost genocided the southern water tribe is directly based on mainly imperial Japan, who at points occupied parts of siberia (one of the major inspirations for the water tribes). Why would you think its appropriate in any way to expect nickelodeon to use your american wapanese ass as inspiration for a brown second gen tribeswoman who's culture was actually almost decimated? And to top it off the bitch is half white too!

These people are such hypocrites, istg. A proper woke person would invite someone from an actually endangered culture for inspo instead of using it as an opportunity to make it about their own boring ass struggles.

Fun fact: "Ray" is literally just Chloe from the author's webcomic, except an angel instead of a devil. Same self-centeredness, same abrasive personality. And you're supposed to like her, too.

As for the show, it's cute, but it seems to be doing the Hazbin thing of boiling Christian theology down to Being A Good Fucking Person™. OK, it's a kid's show unlike Hazbin, but why use Christian symbolism in the first place if you're just going to boil it down to "vibes"?
