I fail to see how it makes much difference tbh. But I would like to bring up the fact that there are plenty of artists who use AI as part of their creative process and then further modify the image by hand to achieve a finished product.

To what extent can AI assistance be used? That's the going to be the nitty gritty that frustrates people for the next hundred years and I'm sure that it's part of the decision which the anti-AI crowd is glossing over in order to stroke themselves off.

you know those ai books flooding amazon in recent memory and all the shitty ai generated videos flooding youtube? that. that primarily

This is genuinely beyond parody, god damn.

Wow. That's absolutely insane. I don't think thinly veiled race allegories are going to get worse than this. It used to be that the message was "It doesn't matter if you're black or white, you're Americans and that's all that matters!" Then the message was "We may be different, but there's things to celebrate about all of our cultures!" Then it was "Our cultures are the only things worth celebrating" Now it's "Actually, different races are so different from each other that some are inherently dangerous to be around if you're a certain race, but it's ok, you can still make friends with them!" How does an idea like this get anywhere? I know this thread is projecting white onto the balloon people and black onto the cacti, but you could say it's anything. Black balloons & white cacti, Mexican balloons & Asian cacti, etc. etc. you can project any kind of racism onto them if you theorycraft hard enough.

Beanmouth, Family Guy-knockoffs and Rick & Morty-face are derivative of many people wanting to "be like Matt Groening" while toeing the corporate line of production budget-friendly safetyism. Greenlighting like, an action-adventure show scares "the suits" because all they know are animated sitcoms with rigged animation.

They also will shit their pants because they're going to see a big neon sign that says COMPETING WITH ANIME and that will immediately make them clam up.

I'll give them exactly one thing. It's cute how two of the cacti people are wearing flower pots.

Other than that, this looks stupid.

Would you say it's funny enough to make you merge without looking?
And if any of you don't know or remember, it stars a poodle who runs a therapy session with other pets.
The poodle was also voiced by 90s has-been Lisa Kudrow.

People thought the Disney Channel movie Zombies was too subtle.

Still thinking about reboots, my god am I so glad recess the next bell was shit canned by disney. I reread the pitch bible from 23 while catching up on the original and holy hell. As bad as Betty balloon looks at least it's meant to be it's OWN out of touch with reality disaster.

I can hardly belive the same people who made the original pitched the next bell without a shred of the crap in the pitch bible being forced onto them by some Berkley diversity hires made to work with them. It was all them, they legit thought concepts like tranny gus, coal burner spinelli, "the STEM kids" Mikey being fucking dead (from illness not his obesity obviously) were all ideas old fans and new veiwers would be on board with.

If there's any upside to nostalgia bait being dead by 2026, it's partly the reason why so many shit reboots are getting shit canned or stuck in development hell before they can see the light of day. Recess next bell, ren and stimpy (hopefully) or flushed back down the crapper before they can do any further damage. Tiny Toons, animaniacs, rugrats and so on.

Watched a few episodes of Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain it's better than what I thought it was going to be. The show feels like a shitpost in cartoon form. Nancy Cartwright is in the show pretty much doing her Nelson voice. Things I hated: Elmyra. Too many characters for some reason. I don't know if they did that as joke or not. They did an episode about making a blackhole before The Simpsons did.

Here's the thing. This is only delaying the inviteable.
Regardless of how you feel about AI Art, this isn't going to stop people from tinkering around with it, figuring out how to make work, and episcally isn't going to stop when said "artists" are constantly telling people to kill themselves for daring to use AI Art.

Still, I wanted to get some screenshots of the article where everyone who hates AI Art is cheering about, to get the full context of the situation.

tbf it's not like they greenlight those a lot in live action either

I've glanced at the Zombies movies, tbh they look sorta funny as a dumb take on a dumb idea
I'm not quite sure if I'd be laughing at or with but I suspect I could get a sensible chuckle one way or the other

So it looks like more people have been finding out that warner bros cartoon lineup on tubi is not a forever thing, and people have been getting angry, that their favorite shows will be leaving after this month. And then it leads to autistic rage and whatever
