It was just dreadful thinking of how shallow my childhood was with this mess! I think video games only saved it for the time haul. At least they still had simplistic plots and weren't bogged down by the sort of writing we see today.

Well a trailer for it popped up recently, and it looks like crap.

Good old forgettable Flash - how I despise you ever so much.
Apologies to anyone who was expecting a good reboot of what I'm sure to many an autist (manchild at worst) out there who loved the old show.

It's seems to be the only way to keep anything animated from going overseas anymore in this biz, though I haven't looked up the credits to see who's producing this series.

On Sept. 17, the Powerpuff Girls are adding to their ranks, EW can exclusive reveal. Long a trio (Buttercup, Blossom, and Bubbles), the Powerpuff Girls are getting an all-new fourth member.

Cartoon Network will unveil the as-yet-unnamed fourth Powerpuff girl in the premiere episode of the five-part movie event, The Powerpuff Girls: Power of Four, airing Sunday, Sept. 17 at 5:30 p.m. ET.

While the network has revealed the new superhero’s silhouette, the full identity of the latest member of the crime-fighting trio (now quartet) will be revealed on air.

As with most Powerpuff Girls plots, the super-powered, genetically modified trio must unite to battle the forces of evil threatening the city of Townsville, only this time they have some extra help in their fight against evil.

Everything about this character stands out way too much. The hair, the hair color, the fact that she's apparently twice the size of the others, the fact that she looks like she was specifically made to appeal to tumblr because that's what "today's youth" are into...

Oh my god, she's fucking Poochie.

Thanks & Fuck You (once again), Steven Universe - I blame you for this "show" getting even worse. And as far as I'm concerned: I'm OK with it. Then again, it was wrong to think this "show" couldn't get any worse, anyway - with or without "ideas" like this.

Someone pointed out that the new girl's outfit is the same color and style that Bunny's was.

Poochie there might actually be the reboot's version of Bunny.

It's unfortunately the current state of affairs that enough adults are watching kid's cartoons now that producers feel the need to heavily appeal to them as well.
