Western Animation - Discuss American, Canadian, and European cartoons here (or just bitch about wokeshit, I guess)

There are people actually looking forward to this just because it's OK KO. I already see this blowing up in their faces, honestly. At least "Say Uncle" was legit funny for something as unfunny as Steven Universe.

This shit just screams bad idea, simply because it's because it's looks like it's actually being played straight - rather than like how Robot Chicken did it justice, showing how dumb it all truly is, honestly.

Why not that classic piece of German cinema, The Magic Voyage?

I'm slowly becoming a Nazi because of you

You know it's sad that the family Guy and the Simpsons crossover is alot more appealing than this.

New Disney short.

Looks a lot like the the style Max Gilardi\Hot Diggedy Demon used for his animations just before his Brain Dump stuff:
Probably just a coincidence though.

Everyone hated Captain Planet.
Even the people who claimed to love it, hated it.
IT was preachy bullshit that made you want to rather pollute the environment than anything else

SexuaLobster's version is the only Captain Planet I care about:

Are you guys familiar with this old Zellers commercial from 1989?

How awesome would it be to have a Batman cartoon series with this animation quality?

Wouldn’t be the first time an animated show looked like it was inspired by him.

And in French!

I know the guy who animated this! It was a lucky chance he got to work on such iconic characters before the 90's flicks showed up!

There's several other versions of this out there!

And lastly, here's a running joke-r!

Huh, interesting, is that from MLP itself? Seeing how bronies love Max' PONY.MOV videos it's not unlikely the creators of the show would put in a little reference for the fans.

Wow, that's awesome! Thanks for the links, your friend is super talented. I just love the fluid, bouncy animation, vivid colors and the art style that happily balances superhero-plastic realism with cartoonish exaggeration. The pencil test is impressive, really shows how much work goes to animation if this caliber.

Having seen the "Fazbear & Friends" bit again, I felt like a better ending would be to have it be the next day or so and it's another kid's birthday party with Fazbear coming out to greet everyone and we get a shot indicating it was that employee then and there) while hiding away the tears of his unfortunate demise), but that's just me.

He was one of those that got their start in the 70's (one of his early entries is animating on the Nelvana TV specials). He's got a nice blog and posted this recent piece of footage he made for a kid-based app.

Noticed a sperg did a 'documentary' on DIC that's over 2 hours long. It may not be worth anyone's time, but if you're that interested in some details (albeit, lacking in other parts), here you go!

The narrator just has to sound like a stereotypical nerd, doesn't he?

I recall hearing someone was doing a documentary on DIC's founder, Jean Chalopin, and had even managed to interview him. I don't know whatever happened to that.
