Redditors have the uncanny ability to hold new users accountable for knowing that they shouldn't ask a certain question because the answer is clearly listed in the the 27th FAQ , question 2187, part B, subsection 32, paragraph 12 under a listing of 500,000 things new users shouldn't ask without reading all the FAQs first.

Their other skill is admonishing users for bringing up a topic that was already addressed in a thread six years ago that's been long archived and has the true topic buried under a Subject header that had no relation to the content.
