People who listen to the radio / charts / goyslop music. It was fine in the 20th century when the charts turned up some decent stuff but how is it possible to put yourself through it these days? How incurious does one have to be? Soulless weirdos.
Growing up with friends who were all deeply into music, it was incredibly disappointing to my young adult self to find out that the vast majority of people just do not give a shit and will passively listen to whatever slop is shoved in front of them. I hate to sound like a pretentious elitist but how the fuck am I supposed to respect someone's "taste" when they exclusively consume the musical equivalent of McDonald's? >conversation steers towards music
