I must say, as someone who hasn't been on the site all that long I feel like browsing the site during Christmas really made me appreciate my lot in life. I checked up on threads on Christmas day to see that while some people were freezing on the streets in a manic fervor, and others were angrily provoking strangers on an ancient online game, I was enjoying quality time with friends and family. I don't like it when people say looking at someone like Chris makes them proud of where they are in life, because I feel like if you need to look down on a delusional retard to feel good about yourself you're kind of a lost cause yourself, but looking at the absolute misery some of the people documented on this site endure on a day-to-day basis makes me feel lucky that I have it so good.
Thanks Kiwi Farms. You helped give me a merry Christmas, and that's more than anyone could ask for.

It perpetually reminds that the internet is indeed public and you need to be so very mindful of what you do on it.

I know some kind but credulous people who have no qualms with putting their entire life on the internet who just think because they posted this from the comfort of their home, it is the equivalent on the internet.

The opsec lessons I have gotten from this place are worth their weight in gold.
