What Are Some Youtube Channels You Used to Watch?

Ask a mortician- usually ok content but i saw a video they made about preserving trannys rights post death, didnt watch it but stopped following them after that.
Rimmy, Oxide, and Nano- Russo-Ukraine war sperging, rimmy is probably the worst of them but when i watch the funny arma or cod video i dont want to hear about how bad russia is and how its the next holocaust.
BigFry- His gimmick got old and one video he made just outed him to me as a retard who can't read basic instructions.
Pyrocynical- the grooming shit turned me off of him but i still watched some of his longer videos, but hes got to the point where he just describes beat for beat what happens with random breaking bad memes thrown in, and his live channel is awful, someone needs to tell youtubers that admitting to selling out isnt funny or endearing.
Bluedrake 42- dont find his stuff interesting anymore and the way he forces you to go to his own website just to get a link to the game hes talking about is really scummy.

"Skeptics"/Anti-SJWs(Amazing Atheist, Armored Skeptic, ShoeOnHead, Chris Ray Gun, Bearing, Undoomed, etc.) I got tired of getting outraged at what some noname loser on Twitter said. Also, remember the Candid debacle?

Old-school Minecraft youtubers(Sethbling, GenerikB, Mumbo Jumbo, Monkeyfarm, Kiershar, etc.) I only subscribed to look at their cool builds/redstone contraptions, but a lot of them also uploaded let's plays, and I just couldn't be bothered to watch them. Also, later I stopped playing Minecraft altogether, and lost interest in their content completely.

Russian retro game reviewers. Here I'd argue that it was actually their fault. For example, one of them started out making informative reviews, only to gradually switch to reminiscing about his childhood, how he would visit his grandma and how he played dendy(a popular famiclone) with his friends. Boring.

Count Dankula: after watching one of his videos I decided to look up the guy he was talking about, and it turns out that his script was almost verbatim copied from Wikipedia.

VSauce: "Hey Vsauce! Michael here! Did you know <insert some random fact here>?"

Taofledermaus: I subscribed to watch them shoot weird homemade ammo instead of factory-produced slugs.

H3H3, IDubbbz: no explanation required.

InRangeTV - Firearms channel that used to be closely associated with Forgotten Weapons. Dude behind it got more political over the years and well, satanistcommies can fuck off.

Oh yeah. Its great to see him shit on the latest techgrift or fad, but that dude cant help but freebase his own farts.
I never understood the InRangeTV dude was legit shitting on people who would want to watch his YouTube channel.

YMS until he started doing retarded hot takes and i learned he was ok with fucking dogs

efap when it was 3 guys spending hours mocking high level autists until it slowly devolved into 10 hour streams with boring clean commentary and a token tranny

roosterteeth/achievement hunter untill all the talent left and they went full political sperg

tons others i forget the names of but mostly for political spergouts idk why its so hard not to include your political takes on subjects that have nothing to do with them

Stopped watching Dank too but for a different reason, in quite a few of his videos he gets stories wrong (killdozer) or out right lies and omits details (Silk Road and the MOVE Bombing), for someone who rants against left wingers he sure uses alot of their tactics

@Green Man Caddicarus used to be funny as shit even though he was a huge polititard. Can't watch him anymore because he's going through the stage every creator eventually goes through with a series where everything is dull and too polished to really enjoy. He's also really ashamed of his old videos which is no doubt a result of troons becoming a large part of his audience. Also he's a huge retard for thinking his video on the crappy Peppa Pig bootleg/Elsagate animations was what got the BBC to do an article on said crappy animations.

Yeah, I didn't really understand why the fuck he was so irrationally ashamed of and angry about his old content, to the point where he appended [OLD] to all of the titles and he'll constantly shit on it during his newer videos and especially some of his livestreams. Then I put two and two together: he's only ashamed of it because, as Reddit neckbeards and Twitter retards love to say, it 'didn't age well'. Which is code for 'I told some spicy jokes a mere two years ago that would now ruin my career', which really tells you just how fucking far content creation and society in general has slid down the tranny slope in a very short time.

Of course, he can't just delete his older video catalogue, because he's likely still making money on those old videos when the algorithm picks them up, but for fuck's sake just say "yeah I don't really stand by my older work now, it was kind of gimmicky and amateurish' and almost everyone would understand, rather than acting like your old content is the Curse of Tutankhamen or some shit. You'd think he'd have some amount of pride in his older content, even if he doesn't really like it in retrospect, because it built his 'brand' and led to a pretty lucrative sort of 'career' now.

When you watch some of his archived streams, you can definitely tell he has that weird sort of 'hugbox' Twitch chat community where everyone just circlejerks constantly and they all have this massive parasocial relationship with him. I genuinely don't think he's a bad guy at all, and some of his political retardation is likely just due to the fact that he has to cater to his audience. I can even understand [somewhat] his stance on COVID bullshit because apparently someone in his family has an immune system problem, but it got to the point where he's so fucking obnoxious about it that he's hurting his content. He's also one of those sorts that acts like making content for YouTube is synonymous with slaving away in a coal mine or some shit.

I really tried to like the guy, and he obviously does put a good amount of effort into his content [completing every Crash Bandicoot game again for a fucking video was pretty insane] but he's getting to a point where the obnoxious little jabs outweigh everything else. Not to mention, his Twitter page is about as obnoxious as one can get. I seriously don't understand why content creators insist on being super political and obnoxious on a Twitter account bearing the name of their channel, rather than using it to advertise their new content or what they're working on. If you want to bitch about politics, make an alt account and bitch about politics there. Techmoan is the only content creator I can think of that has done Twitter right before he shuttered it because people kept sending him stupid, pointless DMs.

I once dropped something like sixty musicology/theory channels in a few days because some YouTube analytics genius convinced them all to become Ben Shapiro response channels.

Anything by or about Ben Shapiro has negative value, so I don't know what they all had to say about him, but I guess what happened is he made a comment about not considering hiphop to be musical because it's too repetitive and unmelodic. Somehow this demands refutation by everyone who does so much as own a kazoo. I own something like a thousand rap albums—and at least 90 records by The Fall—so obviously I disagree with Shapiro's idea of musicality. But normal people tend to have the same kind of idea, that music = narrative-analogous sonic developments and "tunes," because most published/recorded music is like that and that's what they like about it.

Who gives a fuck? I don't have to DESTROY anyone with FACTS AND LOGIC in order to make, enjoy, and understand music. A famous person having the same opinion as the average person is fine.

This is a rare contrarian attitude, apparently. I can invent arguments against it, but they're all wrong and dumb—despite their popularity among certain classes of people. Just like "Rap isn't music."
Apparently his last video he uploaded on his YouTube channel was uploaded one year ago. So his channel is super dead by now. Not sure if he is posting on Twitter but his YouTube channel was 100% dead in the water.

That's a lot of music based channels. Demonitization via copyright claims hit them hard. They either moved to Nebula or pinioned to something else.

Oh wow, this thread is still alive.

GGGManLives: dropped him for the same reason people call him "ShillManLives".
NerdSlayer: dropped him after he started sperging at people that disagreed with him.
