What Are Some Youtube Channels You Used to Watch?

Shit, I remember him. His trolling got old fast, especially when it turned out that it wasn't an act, and that he really was a sarcastic, condescending wank. I'm pretty sure the TK clan he was a part of ended up turning on him, along with most of their fanbase.

I've seen him pop up once or twice since then, when people shit on him for crying on Twitter.
It really did get old, I had still watched them because the people he was supposed to troll. They were actually funny in their own exceptional way. But I got over it altogether when like you said Kosdff was just a sarcastic condescending wanker with a ego to boot.

I used to watch these guys microwave stuff religiously back in the late 00s-early 10s.
Anyone know what they've been up to these days?
last I checked guy on the left still is running the channel, Riley (guy on the right) had a kid when they were doing it and has disappeared same for the host. I didn't watch them religiously but I stumbled upon them in 2011 and binge watched their entire series. The channel is basically dead now with the dude on the left doing some shit tier movie reviews.

Someone I did watch religiously was McJuggerNuggets during the psycho series. While I knew it was fake when it was still going I still really enjoyed it. I kept watching a little after the psycho series but stopped during the Hollywood hype series when he was constantly teasing the behind the scene videos. I watched his behind the scenes videos and the Christmas Series that he did at the end of 2016 but after that I have only occasionally checked in. But with his constant shilling of StoryFire and his growing arrogance and pompousness is going to lead to an amazing fall. I saw someone tried to make a thread back during the psycho series but it was locked since it focused on his character. I think he might be deserving of his own thread with all the praise for how much a "genius" he is and how "wonderful" his series are going to his head.

Forgotten Weapons.
I still do, but I used to too.
I stopped my regular viewing when he began showing less obscure and forgotten weapons in exchange for widely popular guns he happened to be able to shoot.
That and his antics with Karl the sperg pushed me away. Sometimes I think about compiling a thread on Karl because he's such a complete and utter autist, but that much attention would feed his ego and I just want him to starve.

I mostly used,(and still use) YouTube for music and background noises only, so my repertoire isn't as big as some of yours. But still, here's a list.
Not a channel per say, but I used to watch Super Mario Bros. Z religiously back in middle school. Stopped watching after the creator took an indefinite hiatus. Don't know if the series ever came back.
Johntron. Watched him back in the day, gradually lost interest when he switched from video games to movies and dropped him when the gap between his videos got ridiculous long.
PBG and Projered. Got bored of their stuff even before the whole PJ fiasco.

I'm still subbed to CollegeHumor even though I rarely watch their videos anymore. I was subbed to their Dropout service for several months because it featured the return of Precious Plum and full episodes of Um, Actually, but then Precious Plum ended and Um, Actually episodes got longer and more boring and I realized that I was paying for something I wasn't watching anymore.

Besides that, the current formula for their Hardly Working sketches gets really tiresome.

Character 1: Hey guys, I'm doing a weird and unusual thing!
Character 2: Oh no, why are you doing this weird and unusual thing!
Character 1: I'm going to keep talking as though this weird and unusual thing is a completely normal and usual thing!
Character 2: No, this thing is weird and unusual!
Character 3: Aw, no! Why is Character 1 doing a weird and unusual thing?
Character 2: I know, right? It's weird and unusual!
Character 1: Look at this weird and unusual thing!
Character 2 + 3: Ugh!
Character 2: You know Character 1, this weird and unusual thing is too weird and unusual. It makes everyone uncomfortable.
Character 3: Yeah, stop doing the weird and unusual thing!

dramatic music plays

Character 1: You know what, guys? I know that the thing I'm doing is weird and unusual, but it makes me who I am. And I just want you to accept that no matter how weird or unusual it is, you guys will still accept me.
Character 2: Well, I guess I understand.
Character 3: Yeah, I didn't see it that way.
Character 1: Great! Now who wants to see me do an even weirder and more unusual thing?
Character 2 + 3: NO!!

Yeah, there are bunch of channels I watched and dropped for various reasons. Embarrassingly, I followed some lolcows, such as Jim Sterling, Angry Joe, ReviewTechUSA, ProJared and Digibro.

The Onion and Vice News (yes, really) use to put out some great content, now they are trash.

I've said this before, but it feels like Let's Plays have mostly died out on Youtube, probably a combination of Twitch and have run of old games to LP. The ones doing have faded into obscurity and the big names have become general e-celebs. I remember watching HCBailey's austistic mix-maxing of JRPGs quite frequently, unfortunately he got depressed, his uploading fell off and I drifted away. Lucahjin had this whole "im a gurl who says naughty things hehehehe", which has hurt her as YouTube decided to network-TV'ify itself.

I used to watch a lot of "Skeptic/anti-SJW" channels back in 2015-2016. They exposed themselves as exceptional rather quickly, so I stopped watching pretty much all of them.

JonTron: I lost interest in him when he fell off and stopped uploading for at least a year after the whole "JonTron's a nazi" fiasco.

JonTron's "comeback" videos have been really good though. You're missing out!

I'll give you Digi and ReviewTech but the rest I wouldn't say are embarrassing to have followed. Before this year there was nothing well known on Projared that would've suggest he would have anything lol worthy on him, let alone fall in the spectacular fashion that he did.
Joe I'd say was a fairly solid reviewer for a number of years, it's only more recently that his tendency to be a ungrateful twit came about. Sure there's a few things like his alleged monetization of the JewWario's video for example, but he never had the same level of baggage as most of his fellow content creators, and that's still the case.
Sterling's content made sense back early in the decade when their was less awareness on the issues he talks about, his only real problem was he was a bit of a contrarian, and that on its own isn't a deal breaker if his content's good and original. Most of his other problems are more modern, he's barely changed in the near decade he's been around, keeps making the same videos, and tries to push his communist believes and pass them off as consumer advocacy.
All of these guys i feel made sense to follow at the time, they weren't bad at making content and most of their baggage was either hidden, minor, or hadn't happened.

What has Karl done? I don't know anything about him really other than that he's on InRange.

a troonlover / feminist,

was in InfoSec and his troonloving friend actually calls himself "Deviant"( https://twitter.com/deviantollam ),

Their Patreon ran a paid raffle which is illegal in Arizona, and against Patreon ToS, (timestamp 3:57)

Claimed an Israeli-made gun copied a WW2 German gun, (~2:44)

And he's just a complete sperg that interrupts and talks over just about everyone he's speaking to. The rest of it is smaller details I'd have to scoop up if I ever get motivated.

Fucking Karl Kasarda

Christ, well I guess that's a good reason to get all the boring 2-gun shit I don't even watch anymore off my subscriptions list.

Anyway, on topic, I used to watch BalloonShop all the time back around 2009-10, but the last video they put out was in 2010. It was really funny sketch comedy (I know, not two things that go together often) and the 3 guys who made it had distinct styles that would show in the writing.

I used to watch Nostalgia Critic and honestly I liked a lot of his less screamy, more honest moments, then he got more and more skit heavy and they weren't good skits. I grew up and moved to Red Letter Media.

Manwithoutabody used to be one of my favorite channels but he's slowed down his uploading schedule in past years to reread Atlanta Nights, the first piece of fiction he started his dramatic readings with and I've just kinda dropped off. His dramatic reading of My Inner Life is what got me into reading bad fanfiction for fun. It looks like he's rebranded to Mutant Museum these days and I don't know why.

Used to watch NerdCubed, but now I can't stand the guy's content because it's pretty much the exact opposite of what it was. He used to do relatively funny, edited one off videos on games, now it's largely unfunny livestreams, with very rarely some short bits of edited content on his main channel. What i find madding is that if I remember correctly he stated in the past that he didn't like (and by extension didn't want to do) livestreams because of all the dead air they tend to have, and he also rarely did series because he didn't want games to over stay their welcome. Honestly could probably talk more on him, but this really is the biggest reason I just dislike the guy, and I think that's all that really needs to be said.

Remembered another.

Used to watch Nerdarchy. Only channel that had some good in depth stuff on the old Marvel FASERIP tabletop game. Got bored after awhile once I started to see some of the older members of the group leave and get replaced with the hipster fake nerd crowd.

I used to be into the countdown community. If you don’t know what that it was basically channel awesome lite (but with nowhere near the level of interpersonal drama though some did pop up). Most of the channels involved were pretty shit but their was something endearing about them. Anyways a lot of them ended up quitting and of the ones that remain and I only watch a couple fairly regularly nowadays.

I have too many channels I used to watch.

- Annoying Orange/Fred/Smosh/Nigahiga/Cinema Sins: It's pretty much just me growing up from their content and they got too juvenile/boring for me as I got older.

- Nostalgia Critic: I enjoyed him until he just became very cringey for me last year.

- Phelous: His videos got boring and wished he reviewed more shitty horror movies, his reviews on boring animated films from the same studios got old.

- Sargon of Akkad: His content genuinely got boring to me and I just clicked off. Hearing what he's doing nowadays made me glad for that.

- Paul Joseph Watson: His videos just felt the same as "REEEEEEEEEEE SJWS" got boring to me and he says really dumb shit that can be disproven easily.

- Quinton Reviews: He got too political and his videos felt more boring the more he put himself out there.

- Mumkey Jones: The recent drama that happened made me turn off from him and his new videos are extremely boring that just feel downright lazy.

- Commentary Community Channels (Dropped them in 2017): All got repetitive and they were very toxic to watch. Plus all of the content they do is low hanging fruit and the stuff that has more effort is focused on boring inside drama.
