What Are Some Youtube Channels You Used to Watch?

Cinemassacre - Have nothing against James, but I'm just not into AVGN anymore.

Sargon - Last time I watched his channel was around 2015. Don't think an explanation is needed why I stopped watching.

Mynameisnotlilly - I typically don't like Let's Plays, but this dude had a way of doing them that just felt cozy. Good stuff to listen to at night when trying to sleep. He hasn't updated his channel in maybe 8 or 9 years though.

Undoomed - typical anti-sjw dude. Got boring after awhile

Cinema Snob/Stoned Gremlin - Like AVGN, got nothing against Brad, but his stuff hasn't interested me for about a year now.

I stopped following Ethan Van Sciver because of his obnoxious ego and arrogant dismissal of choice advice, even lolcow content was getting stale from him, and I don't think I need to tick the view counter for incompetent startup managers.

Same with Ya Boi Zack, the way he talks has crippled his audio production quality and he won't fucking tweak it so half his sentences don't sound like drawn out yawns. He makes good points but those little quality control issues ruin it for me.

TUG is a faggot who is even harder to understand except his pure cow tendencies.

UnboxTherapy when he resorted to taking expensive iPhone accessories out of their boxes and putting them into his own shitty rebranded packaging. Also his clickbait schlock has gotten more and more stupid with "woe is me I'm inner city rich bitch who's too bored with this thousand dollar phone let me just use another gold plated iPhone for a day and shelve it pretending to use it for a month''. I also unsubscribed to one of his white knights not realizing he was an even more colossal faggot.

Flossy Carter resorted to "fuck the white man" when he promoted a blatant scam that targeted people of color and calling it a "game changer". I legitimately thought he was a chill dude but no he's a nigger sped who loses it to criticism.

Rob Dyke/Gaffigan promoted BetterHelp, that was enough for me to unsubscribe.

ReviewTechUSA is just a higher functioning Boogie2988 but that bar isn't very high so...

Mike Chen of Strictly Dumpling when he started hanging out with Buzzfeed trash, so he's a Buzzfeed ass kissing faggot in my eyes now.

AVGN because he's burning out long and slow, he means well and appears to be a humble individual, but it isn't working out for him in any way anymore and it shows.

I watched like five videos by GradeAUnderA and couldn't stand his tinnitus inducing voice.

ManyATrueNerd kept poking the bloated corpse of Fallout 76 and it's a depressing waste of time trying to avoid looking at unironic gameplay, so he's off my list. Also his girlfriend sounds like a goddamn hyena.

EDIT: Update for 2020s madness

JerryRigEverything, Zach had a very noble purpose for his channel but it's clear he's starved for goodboy points but the minor TDS not only got irritating with his sleep inducing monotone, but the "I Can't Breathe" virtue signaling made me flat out trash him in the comments as a boring shaved-sheep who puts himself in debt all going to e-waste. I'm not sorry about it.

EmmyMadeinJapan not only promoted BetterHelp, but also joined in on the George Floyd bandwagon, and that was the hardest unsubscribe ever because I go to her channel to avoid this shit not be reminded of it.

MeatCanyon held a fund for the NAACP, which is enough for me to drop them for supporting an organization that wants the internet to be "safer" from edgy shit.

Don't know what I expected from Bon Appetit, but I guess food has to be fucking progressive nowadays too riiight.

Smg4: used to be funny, but his content just became unfunny, cliche, uninspired trash. I look at the channel sometimes but it's all just the same LOUD NOISES or CW drama mixed with a soap opera.

I enjoyed AlvinEarthworm's SMBZ series religiously because it was Mario + Sonic + Rule of Cool.

I lost interest on him because of his page on ED, which explained that he just quit SMBZ because he was being a whiny furfag because no one cared about his crappy Renamon and Lucario porn.

Reactions: Tism the Return
-I used to watch The Nostalgic Critic :cryblood:
Never Channel Awesome, as that always gave me cancer, but just re-uploads. It's barely better and still no excuse.

PBG: He had pretty fun reviews for awhile until he started to sperg more and more. Add in what I saw of him in his playthrough channel and I soon realized this guy was off his meds, literally. Reviews just became him spazzing out the whole video vs anything of substance.

RealLifeRyan: He got popular by Berserk manga chapter videos, and while I loved chatting Berserk, the videos were very simplistic and it soon became apparent this was really just a really dumb kid who liked exposure more than his content. He started going full on HxH and other dumb shit to try and garner fans and I just got sick of him.

Hickock45: Nothing against the guy, but I've gotten bored of watching dudes just shoot guns on youtube. I'm much more interested in the deeper history, mechanics, and practical use of firearms now. He's still probably the coolest Boomer on the Internet tho.

Critikal/penguinz0: Dude went from making pretty funny videos that kinda mocked the stereotypical video game commentary channels to becoming an e-celeb mired in faggotry. Also the complete 180 he did where he went from donating all adsense money to charity, said he would never show his face, or make youtube his job, to doing the opposite of all those things. Also he's just not funny anymore.

And all the anti-SJW channels that went from making fun of political spergs to becoming the exact things they made fun of.

I used to watch Ssohpk back in the day then the dude just disappeared from the internet
I used to watch him too and most likely still would be watching him if he didn't disappear. His girlfriend still streams and from what I have seen people hop in her stream an ask about him. She keeps saying that he will come back "eventually" but at this point I am not sure he will. I really liked his playthroughs of games and I really miss him.

I also used to watch The Creatures (the group he was a member of) but stopped watch regularly in early 2015 and by the end of 2015 I had stopped watching entirely and was only really watching ssoh's videos on his main channel.

With them it was I got really bored of their content, as well as the large number of members leaving it just crashed and burned. I checked back in when cowchop split off and watched them for a tiny bit before stopping and I watched their goodbye video which the way it was you could tell that Kootra saw the writing on the wall and Danz was in complete denial. It was sad to see them go but after some many people left it didn't feel the same and had lost it's heart.

Necroing the thread because I don't know where else to put this: Seamus is actually back for real.

I used to watch more obscure channels on YouTube, or at least ones at the time of the early 2010s. If I had to recall some favorites...

Super Mario Logan - This channel was funny in the years of 2012-2014. Most hate it nowadays but they never seem to watch the golden years, likely because fans of the channel have a misconception of them. People either watch the new 2016-present, where Jeff’s went from humo to really annoying quickly, or they watch the videos from 2009 or so, where they are heavily outdated. If anyone wants to see the good, watch the Black Yoshi and Shrek episodes.

RebelTaxi - The man who became the face of animation reviewers, he was pretty funny, though I think his partnership with Frederator was the downfall. The podcasts were funny, but got way to repetitive, and his typical videos just felt off. Maybe it’s his lack of time as he used to take a month or 2, but now he has stuff out in 2 weeks, but I feel like the channel changed. Also, while not related to me leaving him, his gaming channel is terrible. His Sonic Adventure 2 video with his girlfriend was uncomfortable, just a prolonged pedophile joke, and his mental breakdown about not being able to get a goth girl before that was weird.

PieGuyRulz - He’s the middle ground of the animation community. He was never as funny as Pan, but never as cringe as Enter got. He got boring, nuff said.

Enter - No explanation needed

Wiiviewr - Super underrated channel. I actually started watching him again, and it is honestly depressing. The dude barely gets views anymore and has comment sections ranging from 2-10 comments. For context, he used to be atleast in the thousands. I’ll admit that he can be a bit boomerish, but he is pretty good and one of the best examples of having your children in your videos.

Scotty Kilmer - back when he was still a mechanic, instead of just some old crank shitting on any car that isn't a 1994 Toyota Celica and laughing at his own lame jokes.

Wranglerstar - some of his early tool test videos were pretty decent, then his cuckservative-doomer-boomer side started to show. The constant shilling for his Amazon affiliate links didn't help either.

Hydraulic Press Channel - the thing is that I still love Lauri and Anni as they're wholesome and hilarious. It's just that there are only so many times one can watch random shit being crushed in a hydraulic press before it starts getting old. I'm still subscribed, but I click on maybe 1 out of every 20 videos if I'm lucky.

Laird's Lair - British retrogamer who turned out to be a plagiarist, a raging autist, a dramacow and an all-round piece of shit. He made a career out of "writing" retrocomputing history books that contained very little original research. He also enjoys making all sorts of trouble on various Atari forums. Although the thing that really turned the retrogaming community against him was Horacegate. He deleted his old YT channel and then started a new one.

I used to really enjoy the videos by Dan Bell, he is a Baltimore based guy who is interested in dying and dead malls. He also makes a series of examining dirty hotel rooms (Another Dirty Room) and the first series of of episodes was really good, it was interesting to see the different ways a room can be absolutely terrible and they uncovered some of the history of the rooms using forensic tools like luminol and drug tests. However, something happened with Dan and I made the mistake of listening to his podcast, and he is an insufferable grouchy boomer. The newer episodes feel far more contrived, and involve getting the hosts overly drunk while they are examining the rooms. It was a very quick decline into dumb and stupid content.

The Creatures. I used to be subbed to all of them and followed their content from 2010 to 2015, when I stopped watching all of them for a variety of reasons. Abandoning Twitch for MLG was such a dumb decision on their part; whenever they did their talk show streams on Twitch they would be in the top 10 every time. It wasn't long after that they broke up after Kootra slept with one of the staff after specifically making everyone sign a contract saying they wouldn't start relationships with staff (AFAIK)

SuperBestFriends. The Omikron LP brought so much joy into my life and it honestly really hurt finding out Matt and Pat weren't friends anymore. Granted, it no longer hurts as much, as I found out how much of a leftist turd Matt is (retweeting Tariq Nasheed, Matt?! Seriously?)

maximilliandood. Still subscribed but I stopped routinely watching his content 2 years ago. Really cool dood. The "ninja dagger" incident made me hate neogaf/resetera forever.
Edit: He did a BLM fundraising stream last night. Another one taken in by the cult. (:_(

Hunter Avellone (I'm sorry). I stopped watching awhile back but it was his recent Vaush tongue bath video when I finally unsubscribed.

Mothers Basement. It wasn't until reading his thread that I found out what a loser he is.

SuperEyePatchWolf. Same as above; had no idea he was pro-Carlos Maza and the whole AdPocalypse. Further proof nothing good comes out of Ireland.

GoldGlove. Stopped watching when he broke up with his girlfriend Ally. I hate watching CS:GO too. Last I saw he had a greatly reduced viewer base and was simping for H3H3 on twitter. Good riddance.

Lirik. Used to watch. Couldn't stand the PubG/Fortnite streams. Liked the DayZ and other games more.

I'm glad he is coming back, hopefully he is able to actually able to stick around this time.

someone else who I used to watch was McJuggernuggets. While I realize the psycho series was fake soon after finding it, I still found it pretty funny and enjoyable to watch when it was still going on. I kept watching for a bit after it ended. I didn't watch the spirit of ursula series but did watch the christmas series and the psycho series bts. Not long after that I stopped watching before the My Virtual Escape series. I watch some of the vlogs from around then when he went to boogies house. I returned about a year ago when he was doing his house hunting/mafia story and that was pretty good. Most of what he uploads now is relatively boring or trying to capitalize on psycho series stuff. I also really don't like using his app, it is absolute garbage and seems really sketchy. When even his "friends" boogie and kidbehindacamera aren't using it that says alot about it's quality. The really bad mobile games on the app also aren't helping and even though he tried to switch over to it fully he came back to youtube because the audience refused to follow him over. Overall he tried to retain his former success didn't do great and is now trying to make his own app to be a "youtube competitor" while doing series that are increasingly more cringe and less funny (psycho series was cringe but really funny) which has ledme to completely ignore him as of late.

I used to watch Achievement Hunter more than anything. Then they kinda fucked Ray over and he left. He was my favorite so that already had me down. Then Trump got elected and Jack, who I already wasn't that fond of, got even more irritating. He would frequently try to force his late night tier political humor into videos when it didn't fit at all. Beyond that they kept bringing in more people who I felt didn't fit well with the group. All that together just made me lose interesting in keeping up with the videos.

And speaking of Ray, I didn't follow him to Twitch. As much as I liked him in Achievement Hunter I just don't think he works as well without the group dynamic.

Maximilian Dood - His Assist Me series for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 started out pretty good, but then he made it more and about the skits instead of actual fighting game tips. I remember seeing a trailer for one that involved him and his friends singing Bohemian Rhapsody and that was my turning point on that series. As for his other content, his fighting game videos all boil down to the same yelling "hype" that gets old fast. I will give Max credit in that he seems like a legit nice person in real life, but I haven't watched any of his content in years.

Cinema Sins - A one-joke series that I am honestly surprised has lasted this long. Then again, I suspect there are a lot of hate-watchers that take it too seriously like Movie Blob and the dude that directed Kong: Skull Island that keep it alive.

Nostalgia Critic - Stopped watching after Doug Walker retired the character. Tried watching again when he brought it back, thought it was unfunny, and ultimately gave up. Realized about a year later just how much of a sperg Doug is and how uninformative and unfunny his reviews really were. I'll give him credit in that between Change the Channel and the disastrous review of The Wall, I've started paying attention again, just not in the sense that Doug wants.

Rap Critic - Another Channel Awesome sperg that I thought was ok. He wasn't a great critic, but his videos were at least short and weren't heavy on skits. He even introduced me to a few rappers that I still listen to. Then, about the time he introduced his annoying, ugly girlfriend on the channel, things started going downhill. I gave up when they reviewed the Censored 11 cartoons. On a channel known for talking about music. Apparently things have gotten worse, as all RC does is shill his Patreon and the like.

Dunkey - I just lost interest, though I'm not sure when exactly.

I wouldn’t say used to watch them, but with those two, it’s more of a “put them on as background noise” kind of a thing. Now in this age, it’s people like them that remind me so much of the guys who think they’re know-it-all’s in their 20’s and 30’s, and just can’t seem to understand different perspectives.

It’s only when someone is more famous than them, that thinks like them, do they change their own opinion. Plus, they’re usually the type to just look on Twitter to reinforce their beliefs and what not.

Dropped Sargon the second he tried to imply Jim was a pedophile to incite a mob against him and then acted all coy about it, like he thought he was an evil genius who outsmarted everyone. Fuck that fat piece of shit.

Dropped shoeonhead when I realized her principles are not what they appeared to be.

In both cases, I was subscribed but didn't watch a ton of either of them. If I had, maybe I would have realized earlier how full of it they both are.

I also have basically stopped paying attention to The Wizard of Cause's videos. I don't hate the guy or anything, but the one-two punch of his union-worshipping leftism and his struggles to keep his very small channel worth running are just depressing, and I never find myself wanting to listen to them. Plus, his "accent" is apparently a weird affectation which I can't take seriously or justify overlooking when I don't agree with his take on things. I get the gut feeling he might be an insufferable cunt in real life...

And one that hurts... used to watch a ton of Ashens and don't really anymore. He's still delivering the same great stuff, but maybe that's the problem. I got kind of bored with all of it despite really liking Stewart.

Although I watch reviews once in awhile, I've dropped most of my subscriptions for pop culture/reviewing channels, since I know that 99 percent of them are deranged lefties who'd be happy to see me firing-squaded over my politics. I'm guessing they were always this way, but until Trump became President, they had an unshakable belief in their eventual victory, and therefore didn't need to bang the Politics Gong every time they opened their traps. The rare reviewers I'm still subscribed to are the ones smart enough to not sacrifice half of their fanbase to appease the other. If they're Lefty, they keep it to themselves or make it a note to make fun of both sides of the political aisle.

Dropped JerryRigEverything as soon as I saw the writing on the table and the masturbatory "awesome political analysis bruh, drumpfth is finished" garbage in the comments. What a fucking sanctimonious pretentious tool. At least Flossy said at the end of a video "hey you know what I think already, not gonna repeat it, but stop looting ffs"

Now I'm afraid to watch newer material from my subs, especially the tech and food channels. Even LTT got dumb by sharing some virtue signal shit by MKBHD, who also I'm tired of, "uuuhh muh color of teh skin so oppressed while swimming in cash and hanging out in rich hipster areas"... fake as fuck. Left some venting there about how everyone has bought into this "perpetual race cold war sine the 50s" narrative after 20 years of racism being considered a thing of the past, I got the obligatory "WHITE MALE PRIVILEGE" until I pointed out I'm a fuckin' spic.

Will I have to switch to the pajeet channels now? I've been suffering to eradicate them from the results...

UnboxTherapy's "grouchy sleepy slob" schtick is boring.

AVGN is a yawnfest and the rest of the channel is worse. Fucking fat fucks. Shark has been jumped long ago.

EVS started taking more time with his egotistical intro than on talking about what's happening and when he does, he never gets to the point. Ya Boi Zack also never gets to the point. These and other similar youtubers are more concerned with their fanbase inside jokes now.

I stopped watching YongYea last year. I got sick of his constant shilling for Sony and Kojima, whining about lootboxes and microtransactions while misreading an article.

EVS started taking more time with his egotistical intro than on talking about what's happening and when he does, he never gets to the point.
I only watch EVS when he's streaming alone. I don't care about the other guys (especially Cecil).

Even LTT got dumb by sharing some virtue signal shit by MKBHD
I got tired of LTT, especially after that livestream where he started crying about some kids in school who called him a fag.

I used to watch Achievement Hunter more than anything. Then they kinda fucked Ray over and he left.
I dropped them after he left too. I don't like the way they talk about money, sure they're making a ton of cash but I wish they would be a bit humble.
I remember after Ray left, they were all passive-agressive in their videos, to the point of making fun of the idea of livestreaming games. A few months later, they were all livestreaming from their office.
