What Are Some Youtube Channels You Used to Watch?

Midnights Edge, Clownfishtv or any of the Kathleen Kennedy will totally be fired this time Youtubers- There videos gotten old real fast and overtime I realized they do not have actual knowledge of what they are talking about.

I find it funny that many skeptic commentators pretend to act as if they know what they're talking about. Midnight's Edge's take on Toy Story 4 really lost me and that's when I unsubbed to the channel. Basically the same complaint about DC, Marvel and Star Wars, and sometimes jumping on popular trendy bandwagons like the Sonic movie or other bullshit.

Fast-forward to now, and it's all about "Kathleen Kennedy" and "Brie Larson," only because reactionary shit gets more clicks than actually putting forth the effort to write and edit a video that is actually informative.

Like, I hate the wokeness that's infesting every franchise I ever loved as well, but I'm just so, so tired of seeing and talking about it on every waking moment of my day. I get it: It's totally a problem, but I don't want or need to watch videos about it constantly from several different people, no less.

It's sad that Midnight's Edge's Fantf4stick videos were their only informative videos. Their Ghostbusters 2016 videos were informative for a while until they kept beating the dead horse, the same with Brie Larson or Kathleen Kennedy.

I do not like Captain Marvel or the Sequel Trilogy, and I also hate that every franchise has to have face-value woke agenda, especially to the franchises I love. But literally, they could just talk about something new or original rather than hammering down the exact same messages or jumping on the bandwagon that's popular as hell.

Just stick with RedLetterMedia as they're much better at analyzing film and television (and also I need to mention that their content is still quality).

Eric July/YoungRippa seems to be the only one in the "Fandom Menace" who still provides commentary that I find compelling and interesting to watch, and he doesn't do the clickbaiting shit about "Will Kathleen Kennedy be fired this time? Insiders say yes, and that's it's totally going to happen this time!" And he's shown that he has other passions and hobbies that he focuses on as well, and that it's not just him crying about Star Wars or Marvel over and over.

I still think if Andre (the Norwegian) went solo he'd go back to that kind of Hollywood insider, disastrous production stories instead of whining about wokeness. It's really the Americans on that channel who keep falling for the "Kennedy will totally be fired THIS TIME" memes.

I subscribed to him when he was at like 100k because of his Worst Intros on YouTube series. The intros were fun to cringe at and his commentary was actually good. I slowly stopped watching him and lost interest when his Worst Intros videos got much less frequent and would instead upload random stuff. Eventually the amount of YouTube that I would watch decreased significantly so I completely forgot about him. Apparently he blew up and now he does nothing but “Hurr hurr hurr watch me give away (expensive thing) for free“ or “Hurr hurr hurr whoever does (random activity) the longest without stopping gets 10 grand” and I just don’t care enough to watch it.

I Hate Everything
He’s just become Movie Reviewer #173552177 now. I used to really like his old videos, because he was funny and talked about all sorts of random stuff. My favorite videos from him were always the Comment Comeback videos, because it was super entertaining to listen to him respond to autists who got all ass-blasted that someone would dare criticize something that they like.

Hmmm. Two channels where my personal favorite aspects were whenever I could laugh/cringe at retards on the Internet. Makes sense why I am on KF now.

Imagine EDP's style of videos but intentionally funny and not a pedo (I think). He was featured on =3 one or two times and did sketch comedy and rants about things. No idea what he's doing now or if any of his old skits/rants hold up but I loved his stuff back in the day.

Edgy rants about many topics and one of the early loud = funny people. Pretty much all of his videos that I used to watch have been delisted/privated so I don't know how they hold up. Also I had no fucking clue he was the one behind the YoMama channel and apparently he's got a thread here.

Corey Williams/SMPfilms
The Mr. Safety and Mean Kitty guy. Checked in on his vlogs last year for the first time in a very long time and his hair is completely white and he has kids, a bit jarring to see after I stopped watching him around 2011/2012.

This one's a bit of a "fuck you I liked it." It's definitely cringe to look at now but I enjoyed the skits and characters he did back then. I have absolutely no fucking clue why he's now in the beauty community but he is fat and I would not have sex with him.

The old guard of Let's Players
Chuggaconroy, NCS, ProtonJon, etc. You just grow out of their style eventually and they haven't really evolved with the times. Heard Tim has never caught a break over the years which is such a shame since he's a legitimately nice guy but got hit with the 'tism just enough to make life difficult.

The Arin Hanson Extended Universe
It's telling that the only audience he has now is young, easily manipulated teenage girls. That being said, Jon Grumps and his early cartoons are still great.

I based what I said off of what an anon on /v/ said in March right when Dan from GameGrumps got exposed, from what I remember he's still a wizard, had some family deaths, and he got scammed for money once or twice by people close to him. I've been searching for that post on the 4chan archives but it hasn't turned up. The only other option is listening through the wealth of content over the years but the consensus seems to be that he's deteriorating. Just looking on his channel and seeing every new upload with under 10k views is rough.

Game Theory: Sucking that FNAF peen. (For the record: I actually like the games, but holy fuck the lore channels that sprang up from them clogged me feed forever)

Steve1989: This one I feel kinda bad about. Him going over the background of the MRE's and survival packs is what was interesting for me. Everything else is very samey. About once a year I'll hit up his channel to see if there are any info videos over MRE videos and watch those.

Rageaholic: Most of his non-electoral rants I enjoyed, even though our political views differ pretty harshly. Then he went Trump-tard-tastic and has not really shut up about it for the last 2-3 years.

I personally liked Toy Story 4 as well, a bit better than the third, honestly. I still think the second is easily the best in the entire franchise.

No, I'm not trying to defend Disney as a company because I know it's another giant soulless corporation and all, but lot of skeptics just jump on the film without giving any proper conclusions because "muh Disney needs to be boycott" or some other stupid bullshit, and therefore it's popular to hate the film because of that said dumbass reason.

I mean, sure this was released around the time as shit like Lion King 2019, Aladdin 2019 and Spiderman Far from Home (latter was from Sony, but still distributed by Disney under its Marvel banner due to the Spiderman property), but the strangest thing is, they haven't even seen the same exact movie and therefore they just assume that because it has the Disney brand, it needs to be boycott or write it off as some soulless cashgrab or some other stupid bullshit.

I used to watch Pewdiepie for quite a while, up until he started focusing on making almost exclusively Minecraft videos: I don't play Minecraft, I don't care for it, and so I lost interest and unsubscribed. Recently, out of curiosity I decided to check his channel again and noticed that he was back to make all different types of videos, however when I started watching a few of them I noticed that this guy with a black mustache and cat ears earphones would often pop up: for some reasons, I find everything about this guy extremely annoying; and so I left again.

I used to watch Optimus for a while as well: he uploads videos very frequently and so I would loosely listen to him while cooking or doing the chores around the house, without paying much attention. However, I started noticing that his takes/commentaries, which are always clear cut also seemed kinda botched/rushed and based on a very superficial knowledge of the topic he was commenting on. It became particularly obvious when he was addressing topics I was myself very familiar with, and he just started to sound like an arrogant idiot who thinks he knows it all and has heard it all.; He would also kinda repeat the same thing over and over until reaching the 10 minutes mark of the video. Maybe because of the pressure of putting out content daily , he just didn't have enough time to really explore the topics he was commenting one and would only deliver his takes based on the title of the article. And so i left.

Finally I used to watch the Final Fantasy Peasant, he was obviously very passionate about FF and would talk about it with a lot of genuine joy and excitement. His lore theories were particularly interesting to listen to, however it eventually came up that a lot of these theories came from other people with less clout and that he did not always acknowledge them. Also when was of his theories got formally debunked by the source material ( If I remember well it think it was about the story of the Astrals in FFXV), he completely lost it : he would not admit defeat and he started claiming that his theory was the right one anyway, that it was better, and would rage in the comment section against anyone who would disagree with him and call him out; his behavior was so pretentious and he acted as if he owned the whole FF lore. He even suggested at one point that the staff of Square Enix would watch some his videos to elaborate and expend on the lore of their games.
