what are these bot accounts on twitter for?

I keep seeing accounts that I assume are bots, replying to news stories. The last one was under a BBC story about a kid, and multiple accounts posted this exact comment:
"Meanwhile in the US, American students barricade themselves in their classrooms while dodging bullets from their classmates.

And people like Elon Musk, JD Vance and Donald Trump wonder why Americans aren’t having more children. "

It's the exact same comment, same punctuation from each account. What is the point of these accounts and who sets them up? is it some anti-gun group?
