I actually kinda like TTG, but I have an admitted guilty pleasure for overly cutesy stuff like that. The fact that the voice actors reprise their old roles give it a humorous, almost satire-ish type of vibe. I originally thought the show was gonna be arse and a complete abomination, but after watching it I was, well, mildly amused.

It's a farcry from the original show, yes, but compared to some of CN's other works, it's a bloody godsend.

Well, I feel a bit bad for my past words on TTG! (Even though I still feel that way, unfortunately...). But hey, to each their own, right?

You know, the more I think about it, however, nothing would be a guilty pleasure or anything of the like if places like Tumblr and Twitter weren't so... toxic and uppity about such things like cartoons that actually put butts in seats for the regimes' target audience...

I find TTG alright, personally. It's harmless fun for littler kids.

Teen Titans is a superhero franchise. Superheroes get adapted into all kinds of media aimed at all kinds of audiences, especially little kids. While it's disappointing for a series to be rebooted for a completely different audience, it's to be expected.

I agree that it's alright, but I think it can work for older audiences. They have quite a few good jokes and references to things that only teens and young adults would get. It has it's good moments, but it's very flawed.

TTG is average. It's very childish, but it's fun and at least watchable. I wouldn't go out of my way to seek it out, but the concept of it being a laid back satire of the original is nice. I think Enterbots need to have more of an open mind on this show. Seeing how shows like Young Justice weren't working at the time of it's release, I couldn't see a direct reboot working all that well, except with the fans.

I did like the Deadman reference early on, and the re-occurring Batman gags were enjoyable. If I was a kid I'd probably find a lot more to like.

Specifically:

People will point to whatever excuse they can to if they’re not secure in their opinions; although I’m sure there are some people who do take my word as law. You shouldn’t. You should have your own opinions. It’s better for everyone that way. It’s a lot easier to defend and explain your own opinion, than defend and explain my opinion. It’s one thing if I gave you a new perspective on things, it’s an entirely different one if you copy my opinion.

This is probably OT or Late or whatever now, but I feel the need to explicate my statement on TTG. The one scene I liked from recent TTG (yes, I liked some of the early episodes) was in "Boys vs. Girls". Robin and Beast Boy discuss cars for a moment, and the scene cuts to Beast Boy as a monster in an Ed "Bid Daddy" Roth-style hot rod. I'm a hot rod freak, so that was a crazy throwback for me right there.

I have to admire the amount of passion and devotion he shows towards the field of animation/cartoons and also his project.
Chris was/is also pretty devoted to Sonichu, Moleman9000 to NavaVerse and Rap Battles, TJ Church to his erotica, Marijan to his incel theories, ADF to misandry......
I doubt you see where I'm going with this but yeah. Being passionate about something isn't always good and if you have enough asspatters or trolls pretending to asspat, it can inflate an already inflated ego even further.

I actually discovered this dude before I came to the forums having no idea he was a lolcow. I always thought his reviews were dumb but for some reason I've always found him soothing to listen to. I like listening to people talk when I'm falling asleep, but some are more relaxing than others. I'd see him in related videos occasionally and I enjoy listening to him sperg on about cartoons while I'm too tired to understand a word he is saying.
In short, Mr. Enter puts me to sleep

Enter doesn't even have that much passion and devotion to the field he professes such in. See: His dismissal of Japanese animation, older animation, etc.

And no, just because you watched a bunch of SpongeBob and Fairly Odd Parents when you were a kid doesn't mean you're suddenly an expert of animation. If that's the case, I must be an anime god because I watched Neon Genesis Evangelion a long time ago.

He belongs in a garbage can in hell. Not on YouTube reviewing whatever shitty cartoon exists. Much like how Vade belongs in a garbage can in hell and should not be fighting for social justice. Hell, I would not be surprised if Enter starts to justify doxxing and suicide-baiting those who disagree with him, because he is definitely starting to have that cult-like mentality, much like Vade did.
