What Are You Craving? - A Sister Thread to What Are You Eating/Cooking?

Down the street from me there used to be this tiny chinese restaurant attached to the 7-11 in a run down strip mall. The owners of the strip mall those shops were in bulldozed and rebuilt the entire thing and the restaurant is gone. I miss their fried rice. I've yet to find anywhere else local that had fried rice as good as theirs and now they're gone.

As far as immediately actionable items, mcchicken-ish sandwiches.
Got some publix chicken patties, nice sesame seed buns, some jarred pepper slices, lettuce, red onion, and today finally got Kewpie mayo.
Very excited to try that mayo.

In less directly actionable, salmon. After I get through more of the food I have I might get a bag of frozen salmon fillets from Aldi.

I want some homemade buldak noodles rn. I tried to make some yesterday without the paste/ powder and it failed miserably.
I then tried to ape a recipe for the white chocolate lemonade cookies from la Madeleine but the cookies weren’t sour enough :(

I haven't watched the episode but i have seen that clip from the season 29 ep of the Simpsons where homer downs all that Cajun style food from new Orleans and I'm legit craving some of it.

I've looked up the recipes for catfish almandine, I know they sell prepackaged jambalaya kits but I'm looking to make that from scratch, same goes for the red beans and rice. Though I'm probably gonna use steam in the bag rice for that since I don't have a cooker. A crawfish boil is actually fairly easy to make but I need a new cooking pot for it.

So yeah I'm craving Cajun and wanna try my hand at making it myself. I'm actually a pretty good cook, wanted to be a pro chef in my younger days even.

This is the most basic white bitch shit but I could currently murder for a white chocolate mocha from Starbucks with a ton of extra espresso shots. I need lethal amounts of sugar and coffee to get through the day today it seems.

Some lamb meat with mint sauce that AnOminous mentioned in the what have you cooked recently thread. But lamb meat is expensive, so I'll have to wait until I can get a coupon before I buy some. Also, I plan to grow my own mint. Will have to wait until that grows too.

I've been reading the bad beginning and I'm legit craving puttanesca sauce with bowtie and wagon wheel macaroni. Honestly I don't understand why @Count Olaf found it so repulsive.
