What Are You Craving? - A Sister Thread to What Are You Eating/Cooking?

A good cut of slow-roasted brisket that’s been marinated in a mixture of red wine, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, garlic, onion, and a splash of whiskey for good measure.

I can pretty much get everything except the brisket. Most of the supermarkets I’ve been to around here don’t stock it and, if they do, it’s in sizes that are too much for one man to eat on their own.

A whole beef tenderloin. A couple of years ago they were constantly going on sale for $9.99/lb., this year cut filets (terribly cut and generally mangled by incompetent butchers) are $21+/lb.

I want a roast, and fondue, and steak and eggs, etc. one good sized tenderloin is three to four meals for my family.

I'm not sure why (maybe Lucas getting denied it so hilariously?), but I've been craving KFC like crazy for the past several days. I can't even remember the last time I had KFC, and it could easily be a decade or more.

Okay listen, I know this sounds legit ridiculous, but I've had unusual moments where I crave tofu. Not cooked in any particular way, or even slathered with any type of sauce or condiment. Just straight up open the package, drain it of its watery contents, chop it up into cubes, and just down it.

I do crave other food at times, but tofu is one of those weird cravings I have. And I'm craving some now.

Someone in the family makes pumpkin cookies with maple icing. They're awkward and lumpy. Kind of a weird dark orange. Both from the canned pumpkin. It's not the most attractive thing in the world... But, they're autumn in a bite. And they're to die for. I've been craving that and some warm apple cider since the weather turned cold.

Why not freeze the rest for later?

A large chicken and cheese quesadilla. But not just that, but all the accompanying sides too. Sour cream, red and green salsas, pico de Gallo, cilantro, guacamole, etc. Each bite is different depending on what you dip it into.
