What are you doing for black history month?

Nothing, as I have already invested all of my festive feelings for the month into groundhogs and cutsey pink stuff with hearts, as is tradition.

One of the super fun things about living in Current Year UK, is that we actually have our own Black History Month, in October. So we get all the online/American shite now, and then local shite later in the year. Yes, on top of already being subjected to black propaganda every day, they also get a whole sixth of the year dedicated to them in one way or another. And that's before you get into companies like Lush campaigning to teach black history '365 days a year', whatever the fuck that means.

So in answer to your question, I will be seething online/eating KFC.

Last June my local supermarket was fully kitted out with rainbow flags for pride month. Dumb, but whatever. At least it wasn't the shit-smeared BIPOC pride flag or the tranny flag. I go in today, and for no discernible reason, the rainbows are back. After some digging, I found out February is 'LGBT History Month' in the UK (October in the US).

I've literally never heard of this before, but I have lots of questions. Why can't they celebrate LGBT history during pride month? Are they not proud of it? Why do the gays need two months of the year to themselves now? We live in a globalised world; if we really have to do this shit, can we at least agree on the months? Why does anybody need their sexuality validating by a fucking supermarket? Nigga, I just want to buy some milk and eggs.

I’ll be collaring up some greens on the patio, maybe making some crabapples for desert now yeah
