What are you drinking tonight? - Day drinkers stay out

Bowmore 12. A couple of other bottles caught my eye first but I haven't had an Islay in a coon's age and I've never tried this one before. Better than memephroaig and really nice in general, but I think I still like Lagavulin, Caol Ila, and probably some others I forgot more.
 
Was at Lidl yesterday only wanting to pick up a couple of beers but saw they had a ton of quality liquor on sale, leftovers from the Easter weekend i guess. Initially put a bottle of Teacher's in my basket, switched it for Tullamore Dew, switched that for a bottle of Ramazotti and then settled for a bottle of this:

Realised at home i made a huge mistake because i must've mixed up Fernet with some other herbal liquor i like because this shit tasted like fucking mouth wash. Like, exactly the same. Didn't keep me from drinking almost the entire bottle but it wasn't enjoyable. Fernet is almost pure menthol notes with not a hint of sweetness, almost puked this morning when i brushed my teeth and the smell of the tooth paste smelled exactly like the liquor.

Had my first taste of that one at a friend's who is big into whisky at his birthday last year, was outstanding. I like peaty whisky and that one definitely hits the spot. Was the 16 year old IIRC.

I had just a rum and Coke zero because I'm honestly kind of sick.
 
Highball with ginger ale and Toki Suntory whisky. I enjoyed the whisky neat the other night, it's very lovely and refreshing.
 
Having a can of blue raspberry Dragon Soop (7.5% 175mg caffine+taurine and guarana), I can see why the alcoholics like it. It's like some kind of candy I've had before but can't quite remember, it's artificial, sweet and nostalgic. It says it's a malt beverage but I swear there's a note of white spirits like a cheap vodka (also nostalgic) on the swallow.

edit: I've decided it was a blue slushie that it reminded me of.

Smirnoff vodka and probably some coke zero. Idk the point of buying Kettle or Tito's, it's vodka it will taste the same and Smirnoff is much more affordable.
