What are you playing right now?

Been playing Greedfall on Hard and one thing that makes it not as good as Witcher 3 is that quest difficulty is not listed in the menu. Witcher 3 put a recommended level number so that you know if you're under-leveled. Greedfall doesn't do this, so sometimes I could get into a fight in a side quest and suddenly, I'm fighting skull-ranked enemies. I'm not sure I want to play the game on Extreme considering the tutorial boss hits like a truck and party members get removed just for this one boss fight.
What class are you playing? I've played through Greedfall a couple times and I've noticed that tech/guns is a million times easier than magic.

Working through Dragon Quest V. I've heard that this one is the best entry in the series, and after spending 8 hours thus far, I'm inclined to agree. The story is unique from the other entries I've played; I love the idea of playing through the Hero's life, from childhood to teenager to adult. Plus the monster catching mechanic gives the game a sense of depth not seen in prior games while still being distinctly Dragon Quest.

OSU! OSU! OSU! OSU! OSU!

FTL: Advanced Edition.
Annoying as fuck as I can't even defeat the rebel flagship once yet could do it playing the original game. I can't let it go until I beat the mofo again!

Right now, went mage. Will probably memory crystal to Technical soon after I do some forging for the other characters.

Modded Freespace 2. Didn't expect feels after beating the Just Another Day 2.2x series.

Days Gone. I'm actually enjoying it a lot more than i thought i would.

The one thing that is bothering me is the voice actor for the main guy. He's fucking terrible to the point that it becomes bizarre that the devs didn't replace him at some point. He randomly starts yelling mid sentence, he does this weird thing on some lines where he inhales really loudly for some reason, there's one cutscene in particular where you can tell that he is 100% reading straight off the script and not even trying to act. Also, he never. shuts. up.

I finally got round to playing the Demon Souls remake (I've owned it for over six months now). Safe to say that I'm ranking this above Dark Souls II & III. It looks beautiful on PS5. Initially found it hard to get into because I never played the original but after 1-1 and learning the mechanics a little better, it's safe to say I'm loving it. Nearing the end now - Dragon God was bullshit and I didn't really like the poison area but otherwise I've powered through all of the bosses and environments without any real trouble. Not to mention invaders on this one aren't as OP, pretty much everyone who's invaded me has gotten whooped and when I kept accidentally invading as the old monk (I didn't mean to) I found all of the players easy to kill. Maybe it's because there aren't as many players on PS5 but it's nice to play a Souls game and not get destroyed by Master Ganker with his Zweihander and fucking Dark Beed or whatever the hell it is they use. :story:

I got Dark Souls 3 for Christmas. The High Wall of Lothric first time...well... I wonder if my neighbors heard me shouting.
Darksouls 2 gets a bad rep man I swear.
I wanna try it, even if it's considered the redheaded middle child.

Inscryption is my current jam. I'm salty that I can't get a PS5 so I've been playing Steam instead. This game is pretty darn good.

Dusk is legit, but beware the next to last level. It'll sorely test your love for the game.
Dusk is overrated. It has probably the most generic selection of weapons I had ever seen and episode 1 has some really boring maps with no atmosphere. Episode 2 is good, though.

Currently low prio on DotA2 and decided to give some other games a try.

The Hot Wheels Unleashed is a legit good racing game. Negative reviews on steam make me not regret pirating before purchasing.

Lost Ruins is unbearable. Feels clunky for the sake of being clunky and I just can't deal with that. Even UnEpic was less clunkier somehow. Maybe because most enemies stayed withing your range of attack and didn't outrange you with faster attacks.

Picked up Return of the Obra Dinn on sale. This is one of the most engaging games I've played in a while. The core loop of deducing who's who and how they met their end is so captivating I ended up playing it for 4 straight hours. I usually suck at these kinds of games since I'm usually too stupid for them, but something about Obra Dinn makes me want to piece everything together. Part of it's the fractured method of storytelling, part of it's the way the game gives you freeze-frames of key moments and leaves you to figure it out. Either way, I'm pleasantly surprised.
