What are you playing right now?

Elder Scrolls IV. The deluxe edition was on Steam for $5.99, and I couldn't think of a reason not to buy it. I'm pretty late to this party, as I didn't have my own PC until 2017. Skyrim was the only game in the series I was familiar with, and I guess I wanted to see what one of the older ones is like. I remember my younger brother telling me all about Oblivion and I feel like a tard for sleeping on it, because I've been enjoying it quite a lot. Its age doesn't matter to me, really. It's very charming, and definitely not as casual-friendly as Skyrim was. When it comes to gaming in general, I'm kind of stuck in the past for the most part.

Been playing through Indiana jones and the infernal machine. Great plot, fantastic soundtrack and just a good time overall. Lucas Arts put out hit after hit in the 90s and this is no exception. If you like adventure games this is a great one. It's a game I rarely see brought up except for it's neutered N64 port that's not worth playing. If you are able to get past it's shitty 90s tank control it's completely worth it. Buy it on sale on GOG

The N64 port is worth playing for historical interest. It's quite a technical accomplishment. There were only a handful of third-party studios that Nintendo allowed to write microcode for the system, Boss Game and Factor 5 being the most notable. They wanted to ensure first-party titles had a significant graphical edge, which is why Rare games looked so much better than most others.

I bought Black Mesa and Lego Lord of the Rings during the Steam sale just so I could throw them in my backlog.

In Sound Mind, an indie survival horror game about psychology stuff. I read "music by The Living Tombstone" and "you can pet the cat" and bought it on pure impulse, it's pretty solid so far ngltbqhfamalam

Just finished House of Ashes and I've started Alaloth. Pretty good so far would be great if it had proper coop or competitive play.

While some would consider it the worst of the trilogy, Mafia III. It to me holds a special place because I thoroughly enjoy the vibe of 60's New Orleans and the soundtrack. While the gameplay is rather repetitive, it's also comfy? The characters are interesting, the cutscenes are great. Sneaking up on a pack of Guidos and giving them all a Glasgow smile, one by one is incredibly satisfying. Doubly so when you're thrust into an almost Blaxsploitation scenario when up against the Not-KKK. Definitely a game which I think is slept on.

im tryin to finish up elden ring, I did snag fall guys for free from the epic store and also downloaded FarCry 5 and For Honor from Game Pass. Never played any of the three, (Fall Guys, For Honor, Farcry 5), any thoughts?

Just finished Inscryption, it was a great game.

It's such a nice experience when a developer goes beyond his ways to try and be creative to deliver not just a good game, but an experience.

It's "overwhelmingly positive" on steam, go check it out, and don't think too much on it and play it.

Kicking Sal out the window was a nice touch

Acovone's characters have always come across as right cunts and it was nice to do him in for once.

The Might and Magic merge Mod has made a wee teen again when it comes to just enjoying a game by pure happiness. ATM just finished the main quest line (before the collection of Gamma, Beta etc.) in MM6 strolling over to seven to get me some good ass light spells, planning on crushing MM8 with my super buffed heroes <3

Just finished playing Super Mecha Champions, a neat anime and mecha themed battle royale. Sucks that it's populated with bots to fill up matches, but it's a fun time killer.

If you've played FC 3 or 4, it's the same formula. I liked it, but I had more fun with the New Dawn expansion.

Finished up the Lost Civilazation WAD for Doom. Pretty good WAD. A lot of the early maps are incredibly beautiful. Those last two maps were also absolutely insane to get through.

Holdfast: Nations at War. A pretty unique shooter with janky mechanics and a small but active community. A healthy balance of toxic and friendly players, just enough autism to keep the normies and trannies in check. The admins are fags though, but they don't do much more than chat/voip mute you or boot you from the server. Naval and linebattle events are good fun if you find a group you click with.

Total Annihilation: Kingdoms. It got somewhat bad reviews when it came out a thousand years ago, but I always liked it, and it's six bucks on GoG. It's extremely unbalanced as a multiplayer game, but the campaign is fun, and I like the boats.
