What are you playing right now?

I am messing around with mobile ports of fighting games. The Street Fighter II Game Boy port is one of the most painful things I have ever played.

Warframe. A lot more entertaining than I expected given its F2P nature.
That game and Path Of Exile really impressed me. They are both f2p games that just don't feel f2p. I actually bought some stuff for Path of Exile just because because I felt the devs should get something for a game I spent 30 plus hours playing.

Sunless Sea's free on Steam right now, so I'm trying that and may end up getting it, it's pretty neat.

After so many years I finally found a way to get Machines: Wired For War to work on windows 10. I am so god damned fucking HAPPY. Also DA: Inquisition.
latest

I've been playing Cavern Kings for a while now and it baffles me why I keep going. It seems like sometimes, the game just straight up decides that the round is over and presents you with a situation that's near impossible to solve.

i've been playing contraption maker, which is a sequel of sorts to the incredible machine series.. and i love it so much.
and the RPG gingiva.

Replaying Tomb Raider. (The original reboot.) Before that Tales of Zestiria. It's my first Tales game since Symphonia. Either the dub quality has gone way down, or I have a bad memory.

Borderlands 2 for the third time. My computer specs were too shitty for Fallout 4 so it's just sitting in my steam account waiting for the day I can treat her with the love and respect she deserves.

Back and forth with GTA: San Andreas for iPhone. It plays and looks surpringly well.

Also on and off with I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream.

Further investigation in my FM game revealed a startling fact. 1: Referres in FM have stats apparently. I have been playing for years without knowing this. 2: The referee who was in that last game apparently has the job qualifications of a non verbal immigrant autistic man. We're talking every stat on a 1-20 scale being 3 or lower. So it's nice to know the game wasn't screwing me by being poorly programmed, it instead was screwing me by INTENTIONALLY SCREWING ME.

Modded Jedi Academy, specifically Duel mode (because all the dedicated servers save for Movie Battles 2 are dead :(). One of the mods I got, is like, this arming sword-esque Sith Sword (named Glory of the Sith, I think) that I think Tavion uses at the end of the campaign to fight your player character.

I got Horse Lords for Crusader Kings 2 (thank you @TheAmazingAxolotl ), played as Genghis Khan, and proceeded to annex a good portion of modern day Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran from the Khwarazmid.

I think the AI might still be kind of borked, considering that this prompted literally every ruler between Hyderabad and Jerusalem to enter a coalition against me :stress:

I jailbroke my vita last night, so I'm playing some PSP visual novels like Toradora and Tsukihime. I played like 2-3 hours of Toradora earlier. It's like a sequel to the anime, so it's not just some shitty rehashed version of the anime or anything lame. Ryuuji gets amnesia and you can pick different girls instead of Taiga, like Ami or Minori.

More and more Dirty Bomb because a friend has been getting me into the more competitive scene of it. Also I got a new mouse - a Zowie FK1 to replace my cheap rando one - and I am in love.

I love Far Cry 3. Besides the whiny protagonist, the game is a really perfect blend of the first two games. One thing that kinda irks me though is that the enemies are using really samey equipment like an enemy using an assault rifle is always using an AK-47 and some missions make preparing for the missions kinda pointless because if the mission requires sniping, you'll be sure to find a sniper rifle waiting for you etc.

Anyway, here's a few things that stand out :
-I really like crafting and skills system, because if you want to, you can gimp yourself to make the game harder on yourself.
-the ammo limits on indivividual guns are pretty low, whick encourages you to use different weapons.
-the segmented health bar system is good
-stealth is really viable and actually fun to use
-You're not forced to do much hunting, but that's fun.
-The UI is highly customizable.
