What are you playing right now?

Valkyria Chronicles, a tactical squad matchmaking game that was quietly released on PC sometime ago.
It is the only game where it's possible to die of fear of pointy objects.

I'm playing back through The Witcher 3, but I took a break and bought Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic 2 to test them out. I had previously played KotOR for the tiniest bit of time, but dropped it for whatever reason.
KotOR was a mixed bag. The dialogue at times was shockingly bad and I think the plot was extremely poorly executed and boring.
Yeah turns out you're Revan, the Sith Lord and fallen Jedi Knight. Who would've seen that coming? I mean aside from your character having no background and mysteriously ending up on a Republic transport for no reason, your continuous flashbacks of Revan (where he doesn't speak a single word like the protagonist) even though you never knew the guy, the unexplained bond between Bastila and you, the Jedi Council being extremely cautious of you for no reason, Carth's suspicion of you, and your ability to master the force despite having no formal training. WHAT A TWIST BIOWARE!!!
Seriously, that entire twist was a fucking mess.

KotOR 2 on the other hand is a much better experience. The tutorial was actually interesting, the prologue allowed the player to piece together the background of the mining colony in a really nice way, Kreia is a very cool character along with T3 (they actually made the droid speak which is already an improvement), and the influence system seems like a neat addition to the game. it was actually kind of a shock to me when I first loaded up KotOR 2 how much of a straight improvement it was from KotOR 1. I didn't hate the first game, but it wasn't what it was hyped up to be. I'm just hoping KotOR 2 stays good.

Orcs Must Die 2. Casual? Yes, but I'm planning to get a friend to help finish the really short story. The last level's pretty tough even playing alone.

my time is divided between super hot (aka, action movie scene generator)
hack n slash
and hitman GO (puzzle games are yay)
I was playing The Witness for a while but i've lost interest for a bit, i'll get back whenever

I've just loaded up Dominions 4 again and I'm just sitting on a pile of option paralysis. I just finished that Undertale game too, its just okay.

Milla recently had her story mode added for Freedom Planet, so I just played it and beat it. Milla's a super dog!

On that note, I decided to play some of my older games I haven't touched. I'll start with the Metroid Prime Trilogy. And by that I mean, the individual games, not the 3-in-1 collection.

I'm playing Rogue Legacy, and wow, let me tell you, I suck at it. I'm having a great time, all the same -shit's hilarious.

My special edition copy of FE: Fates finally showed up so I gave that a go last night and put BOF3 on the backburner. Going with the Conquest route first. Camilla is mai waifu

Now, as a Brit I'm real happy for you Americans getting Fire Emblem months in advance. REAL HAPPY ABOUT IT.

Excuse while I bash my head into my sink and cry like a small child.

Got Warframe. I go to planets, look shit, and shoot at everyone.

I have no idea what's going on, what I'm doing, and what I'm supposed to be trying to do. And it's great.

Discovered I can play Skyrim on my laptop, so I've been having a blast with some mods. I dunno how I'll even be able to go back to the console version after this.

More Dark Souls 2. Getting very close to finishing it though there is still a lot of things I haven't done such as getting 50 Loyce souls and fighting Sir Alonne.

Modded Skyrim is a blast, just remember though, there are shit mods out there such as this or this.

I've already made the mistake of getting Crimson Tide. That was my own fault though for not reading the fine print.

That romance mod, tho. Dear god, hahahaha. I think those guys are from NWN2, but it's still cringey as fuck. Maybe moreso because of that.

...Nah, the Pit of Sorrow is even cringier.

I'm half-following the NPC challenge. Just a Nord farmer who wants to farm then gets caught up in adventure. I got this journal mod to go along with it, and I'm having a blast with the narrative I can set up with it.

The romance mod did take some people from NWN2 and Pit of Sorrow is pure cringe and edge.

I just read through the "apology" the mod maker for the romance one and how could you not know you can't do that? They used things by another modder without permission and asked for money for it. Really, how? (Not to mention she was asking money for something that never belonged to her in the first place.)

I wanted to get this dairy farm mod, but I have the iNeed mod and from what I understand the farm might not play nicely with it. I didn't go overboard with the mods (I like lore-based stuff and it took forever to find a simple farm house to act as my home), but I've been having a blast. The Frostfall and iNeed mods are fantastic.
