What are you playing right now?

I'm continuing my first playthrough of Dark Souls. Lotsa fun to be had.

I got past the infamous archers on my second try. But before that, I took a detour through the Painted World. Priscilla instagibbed me somehow, and I got her on the second attempt. Lautrec took me about five tries. Ornstein and Smough went down on the fifth try. I killed Smough first, because I heard the fight is harder that way. I managed to inflict Toxic on Super Ornstein when he was really low on health, and the toxins killed him. That was the first and so far the only time I saw Gravelord Sword actually poison something. It usually kills everything in 2 or 3 hits.

I discovered a very large ember in New Londo, so I used it to upgrade my Zweihander to +15. I'm currently using it alongside Havel's set. My warrior is now incredibly heavy, very hard to stop and slams most lesser enemies, including Darkwraiths, into the ground using the two-handed overhead swing. Those who survive are staggered and open for another slam. I stack Endurance to be able to move more freely using that combination.

I can't fight 4kings right now, so I went to explore the Demon Ruins. (Demon Firesage and Centipede Demon took 1 and 3 tries respectively). I'm currently at some bonfire next to the lava, where I met based Sunbro again. He seems to be going through an existential crisis.

More Persona 3 Portable.

Kinda glad they got rid of the randomization of inheriting skills in P4G.

Took ages, but I finally got a version of SMOD 4.0a that works with the SteamPipe update. If you haven't heard, the change to SteamPipe has totally broken the majority of Half-Life 2 mods and repairing them to work is slow going.

Got back into FNV with project Nevada installed. Hardcore is scary now.

Played a bit more Oblivion. The ENB mod does make the game look nice.

You have Devil Survivor to thank for that, if you haven't already played it.

I'm relatively new to the MegaTen series, with P4G being my entry into it.

I was told that Devil Survivor was the most similar to the Persona games in terms of writing, so I'll have to check that game out someday.

Just got Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes today. I'm having a blast with it. I understand the game is pretty short, though, and I'm kinda disappointed about that.

But it installed quickly and the price was good.

Same. It's a nice contrast to MGS4 where loading took forever and now moving between areas is very smooth. Sucks that Hayter isn't playing Snake anymore but they're claiming that's it's part of a bigger twist.

I still don't get why they prematurely spoiled the ending for us and I wished the game played like Peace Walker. I wouldn't have minded filler missions if that was the case.

Well . . . huh. I just beat Ground Zeroes. I didn't mean to. It just . . . ended. It felt more like a demo than anything else.

Still, I'm excited for Phantom Pain and I intend to go back and get some more of the side missions finished. It'll go in the "keep" pile.

Lot's of Dark Souls

Kojima stated Ground Zeroes was something to jazz people up and get them excited before Phantom Pain. He also told people that it was going to be short prior to release.

Personally I think his ego got the better of him but whatever.

I think I played DaS for 22 hours in the last week, so I got Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP for a change of pace. It's a really chill little game with a lovely atmosphere.

I'm playing Yoshi's New Island, am going to start Pokemon X at some point, and have Skyrim & Tomb Raider on the backburner for now.

Lol, that was my reaction as well. I was originally dicking around the game and decided to rush the mission just so I can see more and then that happened.

I beat it once on the PS4 and once on the Vita. On the Vita through remote play they modified the controls to make it more playable. The game certainly is darker, but I'm left wondering when The Phantom Pain will come out.

Went back to playing Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing just to see how fast I can reverse. :ween:
