What are you playing right now?

i tried a friends copy of the new call of duty. i actually got angry, but not because anything was particularly challenging. it's the same god damn shit you've played 10 years in a row. i'm pretty sure there was a serious effort to make it as difficult for me to enjoy as possible. i didn't finish the first level of the campaign. you start off sitting through eight minutes of shit nobody could possibly give a fuck about then immediately drops you on normandy. premature ejaculation was the first thing that came to mind. after dying about 12 times by machine gunners, i eventually got to a QTE, which made me mad, and opened up an area to shoot people. it took like 4 or 5 shots to the chest to drop someone with an m1 garand, which also made me mad. hell, just about every gun in that game felt like babby piss. after having to go through 3 identical bunkers, i got jumped by another QTE as i entered the 4th.
i quit after that.

Been trying to get back into Elona but it really isn't the same as it was before. Back then, the game had a server where you could see what characters died, vote for ones with good names like Ray of Gay Jay or The Hero Link and visiting player homes which were more or less death traps (with the grace of one having an enemy that could only grant wishes). Now the game lacks that since the server were taken down last year. At least there's some good names you can get as aliases, all of which are randomly generated.

Yes, one of the randomized aliases you can get uses words like homo. There was also another one called Peregrine Retard.

For some fucked up reason I took out an old Mario Kart Wii disc and fired up the Wii U. Currently trying to get gold medals in all the 150 cc grand prix races. I was okay back in the day, even in the on-line races. But at this point I truly suck. It is embarassing, but a lot more fun than I thought it would be.

I'm also puttering through pre-hardmode on my XBox One for Terraria, since the next update is going to wipe all the console and mobile exclusive stuff and make all games look like the PC version. 'Course they've been saying this update was coming for months now, so who knows when we'll see it. Would like to be able to fight Occram at least once more before he disappears forever. Previously did the whole game except for the end game events on the XBox 360.

After that I plan on finally re-installing and playing Cities: Skylines. Installed it a while ago, but wasn't into it/got kind of frustrated. Having your city burn down and filled with sewage will do that, I guess.

I remember when I did it I went to that town in Mexico on the cliff and bumped everyone in the five finger fillet line off the cliff so I only had to beat that one guy.

I didn't know you could cheat like that. If that doesn't work out, how many opponents on the mesa do you have to face before you win?

There is usually like 3 or 4. I don't remember but if there is only one guy left it automatically swaps the pattern to the hardest one though. So its not a super easy win but it is easier then having to do all of them.
 
Trying to play through the first two Prince of Persia games using DOSBOX. I'd say they aged pretty well. I'm also found a copy of the first 3d one from 1998ish at a flea market, I might give it a shot later, but not before finishing Deadlight. Now that's a sweet modern side scrolling adventure!

Let's Rage, or better known as Cuphead, with the wife watching to add commentary as run and guns aren't her bag.
Shit is Nintendo hard on the normal difficulty, I can only imagine what fresh hell it is on hard.

I managed to get B+ ratings tho, thankfully, while suffering from the glitch that adds mugman as p2 despite no additional player being present.

Edit: apparently Tumblr called the game racist because of the animation style and now I want a whole generation of games in the 1930s cartoon style.
All in all, I love it. But then again, I'm a glutton for punishment in cute little games.

A new patch just came out for Cuphead, the Mugman army glitch is sadly gone.
