What are you playing right now?

I've been enjoying Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and its expansions. It started with me watching longplay of it, then I one day decided to buy it. After spending almost 2 years of playing it, I have unlocked 72% of the achievements and rising.

Hi guys, I have just started getting into gaming recently, and I found this neat little game called Angry Birds. It seemed very cool then I got super fucking boring after playing it over and over again because each level as I progressed through the game pretty much felt like the same levels as before but more increasingly annoying. I soon realized that video games suck and all of the people who love video games are probably went to special needs classes when they were in school. The worst part of video games are all the amount of Ads on the game, every time you win or lose a level you get an annoying pop up ad that forces you to watch it for 5 fucking seconds(5 seconds that I could have spent playing the god damn game...).

The most hilarious thing is that Angry Birds is the best content that the video game medium has to offer... I pity the autistic men and teenagers who waste their lives and leisurely time playing these mentally debilitating piles of shit instead of playing chess which at least is a game that invokes proper mental stimulation... then again I am pretty sure the same autistic men as I mentioned before in my comment would probably have a hard time finding chess to be a mentally stimulating activity, as their primitive minds would likely be overstimulated by even attempting formulating new strategies to defeat an opponent in chess... These autistic men would rather participate in a much less challenging and less mentally stimulating "rapid clicking simulator" activities to test and master their so called "reflexes". Perhaps these autistic nitwits would appreciate the wonderful activity of chess even more, if it was timed so that these little gaymers can enjoy testing their reflexes a little more... Or perhaps maybe gamers mental interest in gaming isn't about improving their mind at all... Maybe it is about mentally masterbauting to the fictional characters that the video games make you play as... perhaps, maybe gamers would be more engaged with chess if the classical iconic chess pieces were replaced with their favorite video game characters to fap to...

But alas what am I supposed to know, I am just a little social outcast and recluse that has no clue of any type of culture in the world but of my own, and In the end I just wasted a half hour writing this irrelevant, unimportant, and pointless rambling that will probably be ignored by any unfortunate bored mentally understimulated reader that comes along to read my shitty comment.

Xenoblade Chronicles. I'm kind of glad everything is quarantined now because there's no way I'd ever have time to finish this game otherwise

Landstalker for the Mega Drive/Genesis. Guess you can call it Sega's link to the past?

Not bad so far but goddamn the designers must have been high on crack when coming up with the control scheme. Game is in isometric view and they decided to use the diagonal inputs to move your character. As in hold up+right to move north east.

Guess it would work on original hardware, mega drive d pad was round and it was easy to hit diagonals. Absolute lunacy on anything else. I though my controls were broken when I started playing on my handheld emulator. Lucky it has an analog stick which is a bit easier, God help you if you try to play this with a cross shaped d pad.

Terminator Resistance. Total sleeper hit. I cranked the difficulty up a little since I'd heard people found it pretty easy, and I believe the patch upped the challenge a bit as well.

Sneaking through the wasteland to avoid the roving Terminators is pretty cool. You could engage them directly if you wanted, but even with a phase plasma rifle in a 40 watt range they still take a lot of abuse and put you down pretty quickly. Fun game so far.

Cook Serve Delicious 3 is fucking awesome. I think I stumbled upon a very unique form of psychological horror in this game.

Yes, that's chocolate sauce.

I've beaten Alyx and I am currently playing through Doom Eternal. I really enjoy my in Alyx, Doom not so much

Too late I'm enjoying ME2 so far though I have gripes (RPG elements a bit too streamlined, planet scanning, the new Inter system travel mechanic, and increased linearity)
If you haven't raised an eyebrow at you dying, then coming back 2 minutes later, with your resurrection being depicted as if you were black out drunk and then teleporting into body armor with your character talking about space ammo that didn't exist in the first game, then you'll have no issues with anything in ME3 being shit either.

Yeah the resurrection was a wtf moment. As for the ammo thats more of a gameplay thing than a story thing. Anyways Ive done the loyalty missions for Jacob jack and Garrus and now I can see where a good chunk of the effort was put into.

Fossil Fighter Frontier on the 3DS. It's not only my new crack, but my replacement for the Pokemon series.

Too bad online multiplayer is fucking dead 🙁 I can never find anyone to battle no matter what time of the day it is. I guess no one plays this game, lol.

I recently bought Octopath Traveler for my switch and I'm really enjoying it so far. I never really played any JRPGs, and was always very into more Western style RPGs; KOTOR 2, Fallout 2 and New Vegas, and Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines are some of my favorite games of all time. Now I'm starting to think I should look into some more JRPGs with how much I'm loving Octopath Traveler.

I tried and gave up on Mafia 3. I don't know why I was expecting anything more than a clunky standard cover-based third person shooter (rather sad too, that this is the third in a series and on the PS4 and it's still so clunky).

It's the typical "We want to tell a story more than make a game" scenario. Hopefully I can trade it or sell it.

Now I'm playing Agents of Mayhem instead. Good ol' Volition; they know how to make fun.
