What are you playing right now?

Been flipping between the Epic Games freebies from over the holidays, FF12 Zodiac on Steam, and grinding out 4.3 Russian mudsuckers on War Thunder.

Lego Harry Potter. It's very cute. I like picking up Hogwarts students, spinning them around and then throwing them.
My girlfriend and I have been playing that on co-op to get the last few trophies. It's fun, especially with someone else.

Also replayed Shadow of Mordor. Holy shit I forgot how hard that Warchief mission was without Branding. Especially when the fuckers are immune to almost everything.

I've been watching a friend go through that for his first time the past week. Tempting me to reinstall it again, I had forgotten how much fun it was.

I’m trying to replay the original FateStayNight visual novel. It’s not going well. I keep getting distracted by YouTube or falling asleep.

I have too much time on my hands because of Covid, so, naturally, I'm replaying Witcher 3 and Borderlands 3.
I'm a Borderlands fantwat, so that's nearly a constant. But still.
I'm also reading through this thread because I'm hankering to try something completely different.

Got a new ssd, so I deleted all of the games I had on my hdd. This led to me skimming through my library.

Eldritch. I've never been a big fan of roguelikes, but this is way more fun than I remember. Nice and spooky, and it's just difficult enough to where it doesn't feel like work.

I've been playing Jedi: Fallen Order, but I'm giving up on it, (something I rarely do). It's just so tedious in every way that it's become a slog to play through.

I’ve been kind of depressed lately.. can’t really find a game I get into and look forward to playing so I bounce around.. BOTW, cyberpunk (omg the force quits and bugs), Ghosts of Tsushima, the new AC (it’s ok but it wasn’t worth finishing to me) thinking if redownloading RDR2, it’s probably the last game a really really got into and finished aside from doom eternal).

any suggestions? I like rpg, fantasy, survival horror, and I’m just in a rut. Sucks bc it’s my favorite hobby and past time

Revisiting Disgaea 5 and trying to defeat Carnage Baal.

Turns out there was quite a lot of things I've forgotten about since I last played the game. Yet it feels great to get back into the grind. 6 has a *very* tough act to follow up on.

Working through Bloodborne again, and enjoying the hell out of it. It was the first Fromsoft game I played when I got my PS4, but I would rank it just below Sekiro for difficulty. I made it further than a game journo, but couldn't beat Gascoigne. I got gud at the other titles, and gave it another shot. I think it's probably my favorite now.

Playing Fallout 3 after beating New Vegas. This is my first run-through for both. I wish I would have played them sooner. Absolutely fantastic.

The Witness and Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Both are pretty solid, I'd say,

I was a little like this last year, until I replayed Banjo Kazooie in Rare Replay. The little Nostalgia kick was good for my head so maybe go back to an old familiar that you still love?

RDR2 is good but if you want something quick, easy and fun, Doom 2016 on easy mode so you don't have to think, just slaughter.

Oninaki on Switch. It's a fun game that sadly didn't get enough love from the devs. It's a poor man's diablo (and I mean POOR) with amazingly terrible story and animu aesthetic. It's keeping my interest enough to want to know what happens, and the combat is broken enough that I can steam roll the content on the hardest difficulty with some crazy broken skill set ups.

Hades. Hit my 30th try a couple days ago; I've made it to Hades himself a few times but still can't get very far into his second phase. Feels like I'm close though.

I've been enjoying the game a lot. It's very addicting, and as a Greek mythology fan I love all the detail and attention to lore put into it. Great voice acting, character design and music. The cosmetic options for decorating the House of Hades are also a nice addition. P.S. Cerberus is best boy and I've given him the most nectar.

Now that I've got a system that can play games and more importantly the time to play some games, I'm starting to work my through a backlog of stuff I've gotten either cheap or free. Currently playing through Dark Souls 2, first From Software game I've played, and it's pretty okay. There are a few spots where it gets tedious, but nothing overbearing.

I do want to try out Hades at some point. I like Bastion and Transistor, although I never did get around to playing Pyre.

I just got done trying sea of thieves. I put some time into it and decided it just wasn't for me.
I like the PvP in this game but, the dedicated PvP mode (arena) sucks.
In adventure mode most people I get into random teams with either cower away from other boats or won't communicate (no coms). If you have a team willing to work together and you're on coms you're in better shape than 90% of the retards out there.
PvE feels very repetitive and boring. Fighting skeletons isn't fun and both the Kraken and megaldon feel more like belong in a hokey theme park ride.

Pharoah is a fun game. Not sure what I think about building monuments.
