What are you playing right now?

warhammer 2. playing as the high elves.

some fucker stole the tower of sinners or whatever its called and i decided to get it back. sadly, i did not see the tower had some OP units guarding it so i ran. than, i got sandwiched between two armies with no way out and decided to fight. lost my entire army fuck my men did not die without a fight. destroyed almost both armies making them useless. now picking them off with a smaller army and rebuilding my main one so i can try and take the tower again.

I'm trying my damnest to play Deus Ex Human Revolution but it stutters like a mother fucker. It's a ton of fun, but I got to the police station and it now plays like shit. Can't find any patches or ini edits anywhere either.

Terraria. The angler refuses to give me the parts I need to craft the fish finder, which lets me craft the PDA, which lets me craft the cellphone. These tortoises also refuse to drop shells, which I need to craft turtle armor. Fucking bullshit man, I really need it to fight the Lunatic Cultist.

Just beaten Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy.

Pretty alright game. It's basically a budget Zelda game in an Egyptian setting.

Final boss fight was kinda lame (although I love his design), and the ending was left on a hook for a sequel that would never come to be.

Bought Titan Quest anniversary edition plus the Ragnarok and Atlantis expansions the other day and have been having fun revisiting that. Heard the Ragnarok add on is awesome but the Atlantis one kinda sucks

played a round of Friday the 13th the game for the first time in a while. Was Aj Mason, looked around a cabin for bit found a set of car keys and some gas, dropped the keys off and gassed up the two door seater car while the guy in the leather jacket (forget his name) got the battery and then I sat in the passenger side while he drove me away.

I like to think if it was an actual Friday movie the goth and troubled guy survived and got away while the rich chad and the Stacey got hacked to pieces....i love happy endings

Dawn of war (campaigns), never played any of the DoW games and they were on sale on steam. most units being in squads took a little getting used to to control but I'm loving this wonky early 2000s pathing lol. Pretty fun, more fun than DoW2 (dont like how the missions in 2 are designed so you HAVE to use grenades or some other item at certain points) and I havent tried 3 yet

I just started the first Trails in the Sky game. I like it so far, though I'm a little uneasy because due to certain dialogue, I'm going to assume the two main characters, who have lived in the same house together for 5 years from ages 11-16, are probably going to get together.

They're not related by blood, but it's still kind of weird.

Geneforge 1 - Mutagen. The Geneforge games are still one of my favourite RPGs from a story perspective, and I'm kinda hype to be able to play 1 again since the old ones don't play well with modern OS. Also kinda stoked since I didn't actually realise it was being released. Spiderweb release games so infrequently I kinda forget to check up on them, and then I'll randomly stumble across them in my recommended feed on YT, or Steam and shit and it's like christmas realising I have something unexpected to play.

already got pissy by having to create another character to play the expansion, had to delete my "legacy" character with old items saying "This item comes from an old version of the game and may be unbalanced or malfunctioning".

had to redo all the city decisioning shit, it's fucking grating to play as to advance expedition levels you need to go 3 fucking levels of really big maps because this is a dungeon crawler, the game itself is defended as more as a "cinematic experience" with B-movie bri'ish voice acting and unmoving mouth character models until they remember they are supposed to move it, the megazord transformation can be seen as cool but your skillset depends on what you pick. at least the character voice changes on dialogues to the "robotic voice" if you are transformed.

the loot system sucking ass doesn't help and the transmog system is kind of ass too, you have to pick the damn items/dyes to unlock them on transmog and it can be a pain in the ass, the item grading follows diablo style rather than RPG style and to me it's ultra shit, the game having 150 percent godsdamned magic item find always dropping those rare items and never dropping a legendary/unique is annoying. if anything pick a old version of this game and use the Save Editor that exists to unlock shit in it since it carries to characters. the online mode and offline mode saves are different and there's no TCP/IP play, bitches wanna be diablo but forget one crucial detail that sets it apart from all other ARPG's when you ain't comparing it to the shit "online only" versions of the game, don't bother playing it offline unless you warez this game, go for online because you can participate on the gay events they enable AND DISABLE PETS. when you click on a far away item and have a active pet, your character will stand still like a idiot and the pet will sluggishly move to the item to pick it and if you move the pet cancels the item-pickup action, being a diablo clone you can guess it has fucked up pathing sometimes and trying to click on something depends on the game's finicky mood, i fucking "died" (more like wasted a resurrection token) by trying to steal health form a enemy using the parasite skill, some minion got in the way of my mouse and i ended up giving him life which drained mine, pair that with a DoT effect i had = ded, on the same parasite skill shit, it doesn't drain that much life to be sustainable as a heal and makes you lose health a bit with every tick. what. the. fuck. is with a vampirism skill that deals more damage than it heals? roll that back, what. the. fuck. is with a vampirism skills that damages and heals THE RECIEVER? how in the fuck am i going to heal if my own skill keeps damaging me?

buy wolcen once they are finished with the story shit, don't bother yet and be prepared for the slog that is expeditions even in multiplayer because the maps are huge af and always start hunts, on the 3rd part you end up finding the hunt earlier and if you kill it the end expedition portal will appear and you can skip the boss, he will never drop a legendary anyway.

/rant end
