I usually go for grasshoppers but I tried bees recently. Their poison sacs are like nature's version of Gushers. I can't recommend it because of the swelling caused by the poison but its worth it if it means doing my part

ReptileChicken’s a bug, right?
Snails were pretty tasty fried up with some butter and garlic. Kinda reminded me of scallops.

I always imagined if futurists like Buckminster Fuller were still alive, they’d feel the same as you.I was really fascinated by the idea of an insect-food-based world, many years ago before this push. It blew my mind how much protein and nutrients these small creatures could make. So low resource consumption, easy to install in every home. The variety and the insects themselves were amazing creatures.
The world I dreamed of involved freedom, prosperity, and progress.
I fucking hate it all now. My dreams were taken by the people who want me dead or licking the boot. All the good, all the positives, ruined. I wanted to be the man that showed the world that insect meat is true freedom. You wouldn't have to be at the whim of the food supply. Live in a place you cant own cattle? Bugs! Own a farm? Bugs! for the animals.
Look at what that has become. Horrible, doomful, and wholly soulless. The bug meat has been turned into a weapon to devalue the lower class and create a more economic divide.
Beef is too high now? Chicken? AWWWWE poor thing, we have crickets! and bug paste for you!
I have been very passionate about this for over a decade, it was my dream to spearhead the change. How low we have fallen, truly.
Thank you for the name, never knew about him or even that there was a similar set of beliefs out there close to my own.I always imagined if futurists like Buckminster Fuller were still alive, they’d feel the same as you.![]()
