What are your goals for the New Year?

I'mma start a fantasy wargaming league in my back room, because my street is infested with geeks.
I'm getting made a 6x4 foot folding table out of plywood and two sawhorses, and will be acquiring a selection of acryllic felt sheets as an underlay to scatter terrain on.
I want to have a table with a range of swappable wasteland and forest terrain, and a company of thirty or more elves painted for myself by midyear.
And some giant spiders.
To this end, I have earmarked a sum of money, which I am forbidden to spend on weed, icecream, or donations to proscribed groups.
My friends and I made a plywood sheet that went onto a pool table and had a recessed TV in it so I could just pull up terrain from sites online, and kept an acrylic sheet with gridlines over top. It was worth it, you should look into it.

Sour dough starter crackers are amazing and making extra bread from excess starter just to have a steady supply of homemade croutons is goat'd.

I will improve my noodle arms and work myself up to do proper push-ups. But I started already - if I couldn't start now, I wouldn't after the New Year either.

I will do my travel plans for warmer months in advance the way I don't count on unreliable friends.

I'm a terrible driver, so I've been practicing a lot in preparation for getting a car so I can move out of the city.

I've avoided driving because I feel like my stress and bad reaction times make me a menace to society in a vehicle. So uh, I'm going through a kung fu movie training arc to be a safe driver before I commit to driving frequently

So, becoming a safer driver!

Basically to try again with my 2024 goals, some of which got messed up for health reasons, but others I have no excuse for failing at.

1. Workout regularly again, but take it easy at first. I often try to do too much too fast.

2. Read regularly- novels, comics, nonfiction, etc.

3. Go hard in producing better art, improving my portfolio, and getting more paintings available for sale.

4. Stop being half-assed with language learning!
