I'm actually certain that KF is on borrowed time right now. Which is pretty disappointing, I spend a shitload of time here. Null has said that a pivotal part of KF's hosting, the IP allocation, is determined by an Australian company. Australia has a huge censorship problem, and I have no doubt that the company, APNIC, will cave. As for KF's survival on the darknet... I honestly don't know.

I've lurked here on and off since Shmorky's ex decided to trauma dump here, so I may not be qualified to give a good answer but:

After 2019 more people started getting big mad at the Internet. DSP / Wings fans have always been like that but it seems like the hate mentality really started to spread to other cows.
Unfortunately to the people that are not familiar with the culture here, that is the average KF user. Everyone seems to think this place is full of alt right tranny haters, or a bunch of leftist trannies coping and seething. Nobody believes that its a bunch of people laughing at unique, entertaining individuals until they see it for themselves.
I hope very much that the site is given more time. I think going forward the real best option is to just try to remind each other that we are here to laugh when people start rage posting. Without having to bug a janny. or dogpile that poster. Just remind them not to get angwy and move on.
It sounds gay to say but I think if more of that and the enforcement of rules are more seen by the wider Internet there is a fairly decent shot at this place continuing to grow. Null isn't wrong that a lot of people are tired of not being able to say what they think in more places. I think more people would be accepting of this place if they see that cow tipping will single you out to ridicule and ban.

The tor browser is much faster and easier than years ago. It's just(almost) like any other browser. Open>insert address>log in. Any idiot can do this. Make the Stasi come after tor.
