This brings me back to the fate of the forum Metokur. Part of the reason why that site is shrouded in legend is because there's very few records about it and most people associate the name with a certain potato nigger.
So the current option in my opinion is to definitely lay low, archive everything important (records on the lolcows in particular), and try to parse through options.
On the internet balkanization discussion between Josh, Metokur and Ralph, one of the options is definitely to find a place that will work with the farms. Downsize if need be to accommodate server costs. Look through different countries and see different options. The discussion even pointed to Africa and North Korea of all places.
Now if worst comes to worse and KF meets the same fate as Metokur, that's what all the archived stuff is for. Set up your own flavor of KF. Have it exist in different forms. ED for all its flaws, does a fairly ok job in cataloguing weirdos and the world. Either way, catalogue.

The best thing would be to move hosts and keep KF behind tor. Keep a simple static page for the .net and .ru domains with instructions how to access through tor. KF isn't going to be allowed to operate on clearnet without causing massive headaches. Null already has a dedicated fan base which will gladly use tor. His operating costs would probably go down too.

I understand that casuals who just swing by no more than a few times a week might not have kept it, but there are plenty of daily posters that haven't logged in at all today, you'd think they'd have saved the URL in a text document or something
Ironically, if they understood how TOR works, they would think otherwise.
