I honestly think Barb was against ideas like that simply for the fact that if Chris wasn't around, Bob might not have had any reason to stick around with Barb. I'm thoroughly convinced Barb did everything she could to get pregnant in order to trap Bob into staying with her, given how many other guys walked out on her. Same with getting Chris to be independent. I think when Bob's original kids were adults, that's when he left his first wife. Barb seems devious enough to hatch a scheme like that.

Huh, maybe bob didn’t cut off the internet because he think chris still has a mostly positive reception and he probably thinks this is the most chris could’ve achieved in life. He also loves that it keeps chris occupied. He doesn’t wanna rain on chris’ parade unaware there were only bullying?

I would say mostly yes. I'm in the camp that think Bob bought into Chris' delusions of grandeur, his 2008 letter seemed to indicate he had hopes Sonichu would be accepted as an example for autistic people to overcome their hardships. Bob saw Chris as his second chance to be a father, since the other two siblings seem to dislike him i do think those two grew up with their biological mother, not with Bob or Barb like Cole did. We can only attest that Bob only cared about Chris, since none of the other siblings ever come up. But gave up on him in the late 2000's for being normal, and instead finding his own way to be normal via his creative exploits. I tend to believe it was because he just got old and lazy, and he felt Chris being autistic justified that.

And yes, Barb is a toxic parent as toxic as they come. She has emotional control and manipulative tendencies, that Chris absolutely needed to get away from. People put a bit too much blame on Barb if you ask me. I do think she held the most responsibility aside from Chris himself, but i think her biggest sin is she made no effort to stop what Chris was becoming, not so much what she did later on.

Yeah. I mean, she’s pretty responsible for how Chris is as a person, but not even that much more responsible than any other run of the mill verbally and emotionally abusive parent is. She’s only a bit more responsible to Chris than to cole. Cole didn’t turn out to be bad, yes he might be pretentious etc etc but in a very very normal way, he doesn’t stand out than any other grown adult who doesn’t contact his family. I believe if you are a normal adult and your parents haven’t been absolutely demonic to you, like raping you or straight up torture you GI in Afghan style, you can’t blame them for how you turned out as soon as you hit your early 20s.

Chris is literally retarded he lacks some agencies for him to be as self-aware and reflective as a normal adult, so I guess that’s why I think barbs a bit more responsible for him than cole. Maybe that’s just pity I feel for really retarded people, he’s like on the line between a normal autistic and a hilarious retard, it’s hard to tell if he’s not trying hard at all or he’s too retarded to ever realize he’s been manipulated. The current saga is a whole different thing, I believe barb is only responsible if she has actually been sexually grooming chris when he’s growing up, like if the spooning type situations are frequent, started when he’s a kid and sexually intended. She’s clearly being raped if we believe the chat log, chris talks about how she says no but he keeps going. no matter if she’s senile or not.
