Classic era Chris and modern Chris are completely 2 different people.

If I were to go back in time and reveal to Chris who he is now and what he will do he would not believe me and kick me out of his house.

Something had to have changed or at least a series of changes had to occur in order to cause this.

We know the idea guys causing the beginning of his delusions definitely may have played a part.

We know Bob's death which relieved Chris of structure and an authority figure may have played a part.

But what else could have caused this or was this always the destination?

If outside factors did not affect Chris in any way shape or form would this have happened?

Has this always been the destination?

I know some people will say this should not be a thread but I think that we should at least make an attempt to look back on Chris's past and determine what if any factors caused this to happen and what events led to this.

theyre not different people. modern chris is just old chris without restraints like bob

Chris has always been like this, which is why the county wanted to put him away. He's psychopathic, entitled, narcissistic, grandiose, and delusional.

If you want a serious answer, I think the biggest thing stopping Chris from spiraling into what he's turned into now was Bob.
Bob's death was the point of no return, Chris was doomed.

edit: got ninja'd

What made Chris into the way he is now are the following factors:

>Bob Dying - Bob was his only tard wrangler he had and tethered him to the real world.
>Being corrupted by others - This includes people like Barb who made Chris more dependent on her and the Idea guys who corrupted Chris with all the merge nonsense

With what recently happened it probably was Chris for some reason was more horny and always had incestuous thoughts about Barb to finally act on them since she was easy pussy for him.

although we need to wait for Bella's involvement to finally be confirmed, if we dont put that into play

Both the horniness had passed so much with Chris also finally realizing his mother was complete easy pickings.

although nothing about the state of barb would lead to "consent", something might have happened where Chris also felt emboldened to do it.

And if you include Bella actually convincing him, then it did lead to that moral justification for himself alongside horniness legit also saying "fuck moral justification xD"

Bob’s death. The law let his bad behaviour slide, so once Bob was gone, so too was the only person who Chris really feared.
