What do I do if I no longer have any appetite?

I’m under some stress IRL, and I’ve just stopped getting hungry altogether. The only time I really eat is in social situations, but I don’t seem to eat much then. I’ve had issues with this in the past, but this time around is pretty intense. To be clear, I’m not choosing not to eat. I just don’t get hungry and I’m going multiple days without eating just because I’m not remembering to.

Obviously I’ve made an appointment with my doctor, but, I’m curious if anyone has any advice

try to eat 3 meals a day or 2 at minimum. If you can avoid nicotine or caffeine. Am in a similar boat being skinny trying to gain weight, 117lb and around 5'6 5'7

Low blood sugar can make your heart race as well.
Dumb question but can you cook? Do you want some recipe ideas that are easy to portion out? You might need to channel one of those annoying meal prep ladies for a bit
Try tomorrow to set alarms and just sit down and eat when it goes. If hunger cues aren’t happening you have to schedule it.
And definitely get a FULL work up at the doc. Thyroid, vitamin D, blood sugar, iron, haematology, etc. mention the stomach pain. They might want to shove some tubes down to check for ulcers or worse just to exclude. Any changes to bowel habits, mention that too. Ditto back pain.
Might be worth having a think and writing down a list of physical symptoms.
You might also be needing some electrolytes as well - get some of that electrolyte replacement stuff and drink a bit each day.

Doc is actually encouraging me to up my sodium intake considerably. My dad has always had high blood pressure, so growing up I was trained not to consume salt.

I can cook, I enjoy it tbh, I just hate cleaning up after. I'll bully myself into more of a routine.

Go set yourself a timer for the times you normally eat (probably three times a day), dumbass. And don't dismiss the timers either or snooze them if you're the type of guy to do that. Yes, it is that simple. What else do you want me to say? You want to post your address so I can force-feed you until you look like a fat fetishist's dream?
