what do Kiwis think of Avatar the Last Airbender?

I was a couple of years too old for it and didn't have a way to watch it for a long time. By the time I did have a way to watch it I wasn't interested.

It's a children's show, for that alone I don't get why seeing it simply as "okay" is really enough. The show is literally not allowed to get any more deep or graphic because it was made for Children. If it became any more political or high on intrigue children aren't going to watch it. Children aren't going to like Twin Peaks. And for a children's show it's still surprisingly mature and deep. I don't see other cartoons with a secret police named after the KMT's Himmler using room 101 tactics to psychologically tortrue people calling out a corrupt agenda. The only real comparable competition is Genndy's stuff, DCAU/Teen Titans, Gargoyles, I guess Spectacular Spiderman, and maybe one or two other off shows. I also give it extra points compared to a lot of those however because it's also an original IP that doesn't draw from consoomer media.

Fuck Korra though.

I could never get into it. Always found the lead trio to be incredibly boring.
