Well, I run errands like getting the car fixed. I do the grocery shopping, clean a little, make dinner, go swimming, take the dog for long walks, and spend most of my spare time volunteering at one place or another, like the food bank, working the polls, the Historical society, stuff like that. My days are far from boring. But no, I don't gussy myself up to do it, because I'm a slacker. And yes, I know how blessed I am to be able to live on one income.
ETA- I've been at the car dealership for seven hours, now (stupid recalls). It's boring, but it is what it is. This way, he doesn't have to worry about the maintenance and stuff. After this, I'll go to the grocery store, and then down to the church to work on sanding the baptistry so it can be repaired and repainted. I can cook dinner down there while I work, so I'll have something to take home to him.
