- The decline of subject-specific moderated forums in favor of massive social media sites. The information is completely disorganized, there's no concept of "off-topic", and no way to get rid of retarded users. And also nowhere else to go when a community degenerates into a dumpster fire.
- Tutorials and instructions as YouTube videos. I just want a list of steps, maybe with a few pictures, so I can refer back to it at any point. I don't need ten minutes of some asshole rambling on about irrelevant shit while nothing happens on the screen, sandwiched between telling me to like and subscribe.
- The fact that pretty much every website is constantly shoving stupid articles, news stories, and "trending" content in your face. It's at the point where I have to actually change settings to make my web browser display a blank fucking page instead of the internet equivalent of a supermarket tabeloid.
- People trying to make real-life rules apply to the internet, where things inherently work differently. We are all anonymous by default. Anything you post publically can be read and viewed by anyone, without you knowiing. Anything you release to the public can be saved by somebody else and posted elsewhere at another time. That is just how this system works. Work within and around it instead of crying and throwing a tantrum.
