generally speaking, the departure of the oldfags spells doom for online nerd communities, but this site has been getting some quality newfags. thankfully it seems the tide of 4chan rapefugees has receded, leaving a slow trickle of based autists and sharty chads. anecdotally, I see fewer posters who are genuinely unfunny retards, and more quality posting and shitposting.

That also reminds me that a bunch of oldfag accounts got wiped out around 2019/2020 during the great password reset. A lot of those people just made new accounts with more recent join dates.
