I can still love America and simply not love what the culture does to the opposite sex that I am forced to date. I don't know why this concept is beyond your grasp.

Okay, here's a little Social Skills Hack that I don't think you've heard of:

People like strangers. People like new people. Even moreso if you're foreign. If you want to be seen as interesting and exciting, you go somewhere new. You do not hang around the same old place all the time if you're trying to get noticed by women or men. You will have an easier time being social elsewhere. It's a conversation starter. It is not always people fishing for a green card or gold digging. Just basic conversation with other people becomes easier because people want to hear about things from a foreigner's perspective and vice versa.

You want to date a girl? You have a better chance with a total stranger than the chick you've been friends with 5+ years. Part of what makes relationships fun is getting to know the other person. The idea that it's somehow harder to be social elsewhere in the world is ludicrous. (Assuming you speak the same language.)

On a side note, if you're a guy and you got told a good strategy to finding a gf is "just be friends first", you received bad dating advice and it's bad a strategy. It almost never works and it's a waste of your time.

If I was gonna be completely politically neutral on the subject it makes perfectly logical sense if you are someone from a broke country to drastically improve your life logically by marrying someone from a richer country who would improve the entire life of your family however most of these ships aren't built out of love or any genuine affection and are just a business arrangement.
The problem is that these people don't want wives they basically want sex slaves.

I know like three guys who did marry some women from some Eastern European countries but that's because they were eastern orthodox and they were in the country to visit churches rather than find wives they just met them at a bar and they hit it off.

Don’t really care, but do find the stories of “Help! Third world wife kidnapped our baby back to Oogastan! Police and embassy tell me I’m SOL” to be pretty funny.

Yeah that happens a lot actually if you actually read these people subreddits it's hilarious here's the thing the country's probably going to side with the native citizen rather than the creepy foreigner who wanted a sex slave

I cant mentally comprehend what it takes to be a passport bro. Leaving home just to find someone who you don't even relate to on a cultural, social or even interestwise sounds like misery.
