What do you think the community will do when barb passes?

I've been a long time lurker here but thought about this one a bit. I think I've followed chris since the megan saga, I remember the day shecameforcwc.jpg came out.


But what do you think will happen when barb dies amongst this community. I mean a dead chris is clearly not funny, and chris' will probably be headed straight to a home of some sorts. And personally I'd like to think of chris like I think of michael jackson, its tragic michael jackson died, because we never got to experience an 80 year old michael jackson.

But what if we actively tried to keep him going, what if there was like a kickstarter for sonichu so that he could get by on a measly 5 grand or less a year without being in a group home(I'd personally put in 100$ if new sonichus were gauranteed and an orriginal page promised to each donator)? Maybe it would be better for him to be in a group home, but do you think that would really fix him?

Chris would take any donations as if he was owed and contribute either nothing or next to nothing.

That's pretty much it.

Chris won't be going to a group home. His family would have to have him committed, and I'm sure Cole's not gonna spend the time/money to put Chris in a home. Chris will live out the rest of his unnatural life at 14 Branchland Ct with his monthly tugboat. Utilities will get shut off because of unpaid bills, Son-Chu 2.0 will be stalled because of an empty gas tank, basically his life will dissolve and things will sort themselves out. Prison is a much more likely option as Chris will probably spend a lot of time wandering around outside once the lights go out and who knows what kind of antics he'll get into.

As for the Community, as long as the CWCki is around and there's someone with a What If question, the Forums will be around.

I imagine this will be a few years down the road because we have no indication that she's ill, other than her colitis and associated weight loss. Because Chris is/was on Lipitor, and his father lived to an older age, I'm assuming he has maternal hereditary high blood pressure and neither of them eat too well. My guess as to how Barb will die involves a heart attack, a stroke, and/or a fall. I can imagine her being the type to crack her skull in the shower after fainting in the shower from a blood pressure spike induced by warm water. She'll bleed out before Chris yanks himself away from whatever contraption he's escaping with at that time.

Moving forward I imagine Rocky will take care of some things a bit too complicated for Chris to naturally be able to handle, and she'll be kind enough to set up his direct deposits from the government to go into a bank account with automatic withdraws outbound to whatever corporations Chris may owe money to.

From then on it's probably silence. I think Chris has become as withered as any individual source of entertainment can become. Even if people were to start paying him IRL visits to try and provoke him ( ), or even just to hang out and ask questions, the value of such encounters would be low.

And then we move on to the next.

I have a feeling she'll be largely ignored as everyone fixates on what Chris's next move will be. Not to mention that she probably won't be mourned to the extent that Bob was.

Am I the only one who found that sentence extremely amusing...... and rather sinister.

In all seriousness though, Chris may be a douche and his mother may be an unpleasant person but losing a parent is hard, especially when their existence is so completely tied to the one they leave behind. Chris will be understandably upset, and I'd like to think that the internet community will leave him alone.

He'll beg the internet for donations and such after he spends his tugboat on his usual crap, forgetting that he now has bills to pay. Hopefully the mortgage on the house is payed off and Rocky will help him with his taxes. Maybe somebody will introduce him to tumblr and we'll get a refreshing new saga filled with all sorts of social justice.
I'm pretty sure Rocky will help him with at least the bill paying aspect. She'll be like his personal accountant, taking the money from his tugboat when it comes, paying everything that he owes, and giving the rest to him. Since it won't be a lot of money he'll most likely spend it all on food before buying video games and iDevices because he doesn't have anyone around to feed his continuously fattening ass. Or he'll buy vidya, forget about food, and lose all the weight he's gained (and then won't be such a problem?).
Alternately since it's only him now maybe he'll get food stamps?

When Bob died, I proposed that in lieu of donations to the remaining Chandlers (because really I've never even heard of that kind of shit before) we make donations to autism foundations in their name (I may have suggested Aspergers actually, lol). Just because I know that Barb and Chris would be totally BLANGRY that they didn't get any of our sweet, sweet monies because it went to a GOOD cause and not straight to McDonalds/Thrift Store trips.

For Barb, I would suggest donations to some kind of charity that helps hoarders. Here's one.
