Cat's in the Cradle is also an entire song. Strange. Do people buy entire cradles for their cat?

Cat's Cradle is an old timey game that you played with string. Kids were more easily amused before technology.

The song is about a guy who has no time for his son while he's growing up. So when he's an old man and wants to spend time with him finally it's too late. His son is too busy. During the first part of the song the son keeps saying "I want to be like you dad". And then at the end of the song the now elderly father says to himself "My boy was just like me". It's a depressing song. The original version was by Harry Chapin. There's a pretty good cover by Ugly Kid Joe.

I plead retardism. Cats and babies are both small, wouldn't both fit?

I always assumed it was about the fact that cats just sit on babies faces and accidentally suffocate them, but I think the real lesson here is that I am dumb and don't know what I'm talking about.

How big a feline and can I pet them?
Normal sized. And yes, you may pet.
