Essentially, Phil hates being defined by others, while at the same time hating people who historically have been oppressed for some reason. He wants all the asspats by being the most oppressed thing he can conceive of (a combination of commonly oppressed groups like transgendered people, those of latin ethnicity, and of course women in general), while also oppressing the shit out of historically oppressed people out of some weird jealousy complex where he sees the Jews as getting special treatment without deserving it like him.

Phil wants to be all these characters because it's better than being original flavored Phil that no one picked at the ice cream shop because it looked as though it had been trampled by rats.
 
He wants respect. Growing up as a special-needs kids without useful skills (or in the case of Phil, without any skills at all.) has to suck, especially if he grew up under traditional parenting where respect is only reserved for those who achieve. Phil was attracted to the SJW crowd as they dangle two fallacies in his face:

1) You deserve respect simply by existing.
2) The more "oppressed" you claim to be, the more respect you get.

Obviously, lying about being oppressed to gain false respect is much easier than trying to earn real respect by achieving. What Phil doesn't realize is that lying is the surest way to make you lose respect, and now he is too far gone to turn around.
 
Attention. That's really all it boils down to. Phil is mentally and socially perpetually stuck in the mindset of a moody teenage edgelord. My guess is that from a very early age, he learned that negative behaviour got him attention, so he started acting out. Well, acting out more than your garden variety retard. I believe it's been mentioned that Phil has a brother who is even more severely retarded than he is. If so, its quite likely that little Phil felt upstaged by his sibling and sought to do anything for his parents approval.

Of course, most people grow out of that phase after high school, if not while actually IN high school itself. My guess is Phil never got enough social interaction with his peers, or at least whatever passed for his peers. As he got older, Phil managed to expand his social network, while still keeping it something of a self-enclosed circle jerk of SJW idiocy. He learned that identifying himself as part of an 'oppressed minority' got him attention, whether it was being gay, Jewish, Latino, transwoman, Buddhist, Wiccan, or even bullying victim.

So yeah, all of his ultra-edgy leftist hashtag personas are really just an act. Mind you, he does crave being oppressed, which is why he's homeless by choice and covered himself in shitty tattoos, and why he follows these forums to see what evil thing us kiwis are doing. But at the end of the day, the oppression is just a means to the end. What he really wants are those sweet, sweet ass pats on FB.

Only a retard would be so moronic as to throw his career, love life, even health down the drain in the hopes of some random stranger halfway across the world pressing a button to indicate they agree with something you posted weeks ago on your FB page, but then, Phil is a tard baby.

Phil probably finds something liberating in being homeless- it frees him from expectations. Poor people make bad decisions because they're in perpetual crisis, and that's a handy excuse for a guy doing stupid shit. Of course, most people make bad decisions like taking out high-interest loans or taking the cheapest option even though it won't last as long as a somewhat more costly item. The inability to prioritize groceries over tattoos is leaps and bounds worse.
 
I think he just wants the world to make sense to him. His problem is, he world doesn't make any sense to him because of autism and he has firmly convinced himself that there is no bad side to being autistic and it doesn't interfere with his mind at all.

Online autism communities are full of people insisting autism is a wonderful thing, and efforts to cure it are "equivalent to genocide." Because fixing a behavioral issue that causes... well, Phil, not to put too fine a point on it, is somehow on par with eugenics.

Sadly, Phil is but the leading man of a bizarre show of autistic people I've met who are, almost without exception, painfully dysfunctional, but insist there's nothing wrong and argue things like "the word 'disorder' just means your behavior annoys people with power over you"

By way of illustrating the exception, my favorite reply to that was, "Yes, when I'm trapped in an episode, twitching on the ground and slamming my head into the floor, consciously wanting to stop trying to give myself a concussion but physically unable to pull out of it, all I can think of is how much fun risking brain damage is, and that the only downside to it is that it's annoying the people with power over me."
 
Same thing Chris wants: China. Except Phil will go to the lowest of the low (I.e. figging, chastity, being a submissive turd, etc.) just to even get close to that sweet, holy pussy. To him getting his dick wet doesn't matter, just being noticed by an attractive woman and being touched in some way shape or form. Hell, with his recent hospital eviction, he may have popped a boner after a big black female security guard twisted his arm and threw him to the curb.
