I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, apologies if not, but does anyone happen to remember Usenet's "modern Nostradamus", SOLLOG, or know what happened to him? The "prophecies" of SOLLOG included (to name a few) Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Katrina, and Sandy, the crash of TransAsia Flight GE235, and 9/11. He had a whole cult following, including a user going by the name of Leo Phoenix, who went on a schizoposting spree some days before under the name Xinoehpoel and got himself reported to the FBI. He got the date wrong in the thread, but correct in the title.
