Gex Enter the Gecko 64 - the first video game I ever played, so it holds a special place in my heart.
Glover - enjoyed it back in the day. It's an odd game, but once you get used to it can be good.
Rayman 2 - one of my favorite games. Great story, level design, music, and a great cast of characters. Holds up very well.
Banjo-Tooie - if I had to pick a favorite game, this is it. Took an already great game (Banjo-Kazooie), and made it bigger.
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards - one of the best games on the N64, has stood the test of time very well.
Donkey Kong 64 - has it's faults, but it's a personal favorite. Personally I liked having a lot of collectables to get, it added length to the game (just personal opinion, though, I can see why most think it's too much).
Super Mario Sunshine - while I prefer SM 64, Sunshine is still a great game that holds plenty of nostalgia for me.
Cubivore - a hidden gem on the Gamecube, this bizarre little game once held the title of my persona; favorite game, and while it's no longer at the top of my list, it's still a favorite.
Animal Crossing - my favorite in the series. The later games added in some great features, but I'll always prefer the original, mainly for its weird atmosphere and music.
Wario World - another hidden gem on the Gamecube, the combat is simple but so satisfying. Never get tired of grabbing the giant bosses and either tossing them or pile driving them into the ground.
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger - another personal favorite, a 3D collectathon in the vein of Banjo-Kazooie and Super Mario 64. Was also one of the first Gamecube games I ever got.
Judge Dredd: Dredd vs. Death - one of my favorite shooters, and it introduced me to the Judge Dredd comics.
Ratchet: Deadlocked - one of the first PS2 games I played and my first R&C game. I like the increased focus on combat and am a sucker for stories/plots where the main character is captured and forced to fight in gladiatorial style combat.
Psychonauts - another hidden gem with a very creative premise. Played it the summer after graduating high school, so it brings back some good memories.
Grabbed By The Ghoulies - got this game one day when I went with my grandma to take our dog to the vet. Our dog was hit by a car and killed a month later, so this game holds memories of spending time with her.
Okami - one of my favorite games, and absolute masterpiece where everything - gameplay, artstyle, graphics, music, characters, enviroment- is top notch. Clover went all out making this gem.
We Love Katamari - my favorite PS2 game. Love the laid back nature of the series and how bizarre it is, the soundtrack is incredible and it brings back some great memories as I played it around the time I graduated high school.
Rabbids Go Home - as much as I detest what happened to the Rayman series because of the Rabbids, I enjoyed this game. It's a fun little Katamari Damacy-esque game. A hidden gem on the Wii and one I hope to see get an HD port someday.
de Blob - a fun, lighthearted game where you restore color to a city after an army of ink creatures wanted to make everything black and white. Has a smooth, mellow soundtrack and is a great game to play when one wants to unwind.
Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars - great little action-adventure game from the Wii era. HAs a great atmosphere that pays homage to 1950's B-movis.
Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon - didn't care too much for the first two Legend of Spyro games, but I enjoyed this one. I liked that we finally got to play as an older Spyro with free flight, shame
Minecraft - been playing it since September 2011. It will always be a personal favorite.
Solatorobo: Red the Hunter - my favorite DS game. An underrated gem that deserves more love.
Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters - my favorite jrpg and favorite 3DS game. I got into the series back in Spring of 2019, and played this game religiously. Loved the setting, story, characters, and music. Sad to see that this series burned out so quickly, especially here in the West.
