They came overseas young for adventure, to get educated and make money then went home for their careers because overseas got shitty or they were born over here, saw how easier it was to live elsewhere and dipped. enjoy the Dollar Tree replacements currently being imported from India!

Moving to the west for education isn't really a big thing for east asians anymore. I don't see a reason why an east asian might move to UK when they can migrate to their own major cities like Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai etc etc which are much safer and better. I think only USA attracts east asian talent nowadays and even that has slowed down over the years

For example in canada, Chinese immigration has been largely replaced by Indians. You see Chinese people a lot less now
